- Scam SetectedThe message you received has several signs that suggest it could be a scam:
1. Unsolicited Recruitment Message – If you haven’t applied for a job with this company or agency, receiving a recruitment message out of the blue is suspicious.
2. Generic Sender Information – The message does not provide a company name or official website, which is a red flag. Legitimate recruiters usually include verifiable details.
3. Urgency and Direct Responses – Scammers often try to get quick replies (“YES,” “NO,” or “STOP”) to confirm that your number is active, which can lead to more spam or phishing attempts.
4. Government Job Offers via Text – U.S. government agencies, especially the Secret Service, do not typically recruit officers through random text messages. They use official channels like USAJOBS.gov.
5. Unverified Phone Number – The number appears to be from an unknown sender and not an official government or recruitment agency number.
What You Should Do:
• Do Not Reply – Even replying “STOP” can confirm your number is active and lead to more spam.
• Block the Number – You can block the sender to prevent further messages.
• Report the Message – You can report it to your mobile carrier or the FTC (reportfraud.ftc.gov).
If you are interested in law enforcement jobs, consider visiting official government websites instead.- Caller: 938 200 0060

Shirisha, recruiter.
I'm from Leoforce Pvt Ltd. We are a Raleigh, North Carolina headquartered company that is contracted through a Recruitment Marketing Agency to drive a more qualified candidate to the Secret Service. I said what recruiting company hires secret service agents in a text? That’s crazy.
That so called recruiter said… This position is open with U.S. Secret Services. This position is open to both entry-level candidates and experienced professionals. No prior relevant experience is necessary. Let me know if you're interested in applying. I said I'm going to report this to the police, FBI and the CIA. You're a [***] scammer. That fake recruiter said This is a legitimate opportunity with the Secret Service. You can also visit our website: https://leoforce.com/
As you're not intersted, I completely understand and apologize if I haven?t met your expectations. I said I am reporting you to the authorities.- Caller: Leoforce Pvt Ltd.

I’m an Army veteran and I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. I have been applying for jobs on several job boards so that is likely how they got my number. If you apply, you give all of the information to steal your identity. Stay vigilant!- Caller: Raleigh, NC-based company partnered with a Recruitment Marketing Agenc

I did not respond as I haven’t applied anywhere as I already have a good paying job. But the crazy thing is, they are changing the number slightly because mine came from a 1-938-200-0096, people be ware because something of this kind of importance DOES NOT COME THROUGH IN A TEXT ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVENT EVEN APPLIED FOR IT!!!! I’m sorry, but something is important as devoting your life to save another one’s life does not show up in a text message for when you haven’t even requested it!!!- Caller: Raleigh, NC-based company partnered with a Recruitment Marketing Agency
