Caller ID says "Veteran."  They left no message on the answering machine so I presume this was some kind of fake veterans charity scam.

Received a call to our landline from this number today (23 Jan 2018) at 10:31 am (Central Time.) Actually nothing displayed on our caller ID. I was able to find the phone number and ID name (Veteran) by going to the Phone Services Call History screen on our TV. We have AT&T Uverse as our land line provider and our cable TV provider. A message was left but it was only a partial message and sounded like a recording. I think it was some sort of scam call.

Called today and CID displayed "VETERAN".  I rejected the call so no idea what they actually wanted though I assume they want my money donated to one veteran's group or another.  Probably a scam group of some sort.

Caller ID says "VETERAN".  Left no meesage.

Call from 941 251 0824 came in at 8:54 PM 92/05.  No one calls me at this hour - unless, of course, it's an emergency.  Caller left no message so have to assume this call was some sort of a SCAM!!!!

CID said Veteran.  Came just seconds after a call from Data Line. Blocked both as they rang.

"Veteran". These Scumbags know no limits. Next they will be calling themselves "Abused starving puppies with terminal cancer". Woke me up too. BLOCKED the waste products.

Ditto all of the previous reports. I picked up but said nothing, so it was dead air. A human voice said hello about five times and then hung up. More scammers now preying on our veterans....

Display shows "Veterans" with phone number 941-251-0824 originating in Bradenton, FL. They called 02-05-18 at 12:55 pm and again this morning (02-13-18) at 8:17am. I am a senior with many disabilities. I sleep poorly through the night and do not appreciate being woke up at 8:17am. I did not answer either call but did 'bing' the number. One site said there had not been enough complaints for the FFC to okay it as a nuisance call. It is blocked now.

These people Call 3 to 4 time a Day. Leave no message. Scam call says  "Veteran", They also use a switch number  719 283 9143.

Calls almost daily.  No message left.  Stop scamming Veterans.

My husband answered a call from this number before 8:15 am today!  He said the CID indicated it was something about veterans.  When he answered, no one was there, so after saying "hello" a couple of times, he hung up.  No one has any business calling at this early hour if they're telemarketers or charity solicitors!

Hang up on the answering machine at 1:45pm. CID said "VETERAN". I assume it's just another scam.

1)  Unknown CID.  2)  No VM.  3)  BLOCKED.  ~  The rules are simple.  For unknown or unlisted numbers, leave a valid message and I will return your call.  Say nothing and become blocked.  Easy as that.

My problem so many blocked calls I can’t put anymore in there!

Then maybe you should read the documentation that came with your call blocker to see if you can block whole area codes, area codes and exchanges, or wild card numbers.  That would free up a lot of space.
