This is the local number in Venice, FL for Domari & Associates.  This is a single-office headhunting outfit, which is apparently run as a cold-calling sweatshop.  These poor slobs are hacks, poorly trained, unsupervised, and must be reading from the same worn-out script.  They must have a very high turnover rate, because we gets calls all the time from this outfit, but it is a different name every third call or so.  They are universally unprofessional, out of touch with the market, and quite often just plain rude.  It is a game of numbers for these mills, act interested then just put them on hold until they give up and quit calling.

Tim Simon called me from this number and asked to speak with my boss. When I advised him that he was out of the office, he asked for his cell phone number. I told him I would be happy to take a message, and he replied, "I need to speak with your boss IMMEDIATELY." I said, "Sir, I'm happy to take your information and have him return the call, but I cannot give out his private cell phone number." He got very aggressive and told me he'd better call back right away, because this was a serious matter -- he couldn't tell me WHAT the serious matter was, however.

Bullying people into business? No way.

I just took a call from Tim Simon, also, and he asked for our CEO by name.  I told him that I would check to see if he's working out of our office this week or not (he often works at our parent company's office and only comes to our site every so often).  I found out our CEO was not in and told Mr. Simon that, offering to transfer him to our CEO's voicemail.  He was so silent for a few moments that I thought he hung up, but he finally said "Sure" and I transferred him to voicemail.  I have no idea if he bothered to leave a message or not.

They called to my boss and asked me. My boss said that this call is very personal. When I took a phone he started to offer me another job.  After reading your posts I realized that probably he said something to my boss and he came to my working space. Strange

Got a call from Aaron Thompson from Domari.  This is how headhunters work, they use services such as LinkedIn to track down the top people in an organization directly, then call them and try to sell them "qualified candidates."  My boss forwarded his message to me, and I had him send me the resumes of these candidates and they are a JOKE.  They attempt to use slick sales techniques in order to place their poor quality candidates in your organization so they can charge you huge upcharges.

If they call, just say "We are not interested" and hang up.

The Guy that Domari Calls Too Much
They call me to "help them out with projects and information". They are a headhunter firm that are not very good, and [***] me over on a decent job opportunity long ago, as they didn't inform the business owner that I rescheduled the lunch interview. He called me upset to say the least. I told him there must have been a misunderstanding with the agency, that I had made known to his head hunters that I couldn't make the lunch meeting I wanted to reschedule, and that if this was going to be his response I'd rather not work for him anyway. Domari & Associates suck balls . They are out of Florida, and are a sham operation that parasite feed off anyone that may have any kind of lead to give them. I was kind one day and gave them one. Now they call me to see if I can help them out.. Put me on the [***] payroll you bunch of fleas.

April 16, 2013 - A woman left a recording saying she was Marty (Marny?) Zuckerman working on a project in Cincinnati.  She never mentioned what company she worked for.

I also got a call from "Marty Zuckerman" about some mysterious project.  No location.  No company name.  She left an 800 number to call back, but my caller ID nailed her as a Domari & Assoc. troll.  Not sure how she got my information.

I am a small business owner and we do civil engineering and land surveying.  Marty had the nerve to call our office and ask for my employees and try and recruit them during the work day, or business phones.  I treat my employees very well and they are all very loyal people so they let me on to her.  I called her back and told her how unprofessional she is contacting my employees during working hours on business phones.  There are plenty of other avenues she could take to contact them while maintaining a fair amount of professionalism.  She then indicated that "she made a hundred grand last year doing it".  Just a testament of the character of the people who work here.  I then gave her food for thought that our firm should be seen as a potential client and she should be doing everything she can to gain me as a client.  This  seemed to stump her.  Maybe she would have understood if I would have told her she would make two hundred grand if she did.  The most important thing in her line of work is confidentiality and professionalism, and they have none of either.

Marty Zuckerman called me this afternoon.  Left a message saying she was with Domari and is working on "a project" in my home state, and they wanted to ask for my help in pushing them in the right direction...whatever that means (off a cliff?)

Called and asked for an employee who is not in our directory. Ended up asking for an HR person in charge of hiring engineers as she has someone whom he would like to set up for interview. Her name is Megan and when i asked for her phone number, its 877-366-2741.

This 941-488-4440 appeared on call display though.

If you're in search of a recruiter, don't use these folks.  I made the mistake of working for this outfit for a period of time.  Worst mistake of my life.  Left them to go to an ethical recruiting company.  If you get a call from them, as a former employee, run is my advice.

Tim Simon called several times today asking for various employees.  I then had an employee speak to him to find out what he wanted.  Discovered he was a recruiter trying to talk to all of our employees.  He uses very heavy handed tactics.  I think I'll get a whistle and burst his eardrum next time....

An Inquisitive Potential Recruiter... replies to former employee
I was contacted as they, D & A, have an ad on a few different employment sites. I am in search of work and I have a recruiting background, plus the commute would not be too bad. The Manager, Brian Kile, seemed courteous and professional, of course this is for them attracting me as a potential employee working for them, and I had met the former one years ago, but went a different direction for my vocation.
As this is  a fairly recent post, I hope you would be so kind to inform me if the leads one receives, or finds to place, are repeatedly shared, accounts are worked by the less professional representatives from there?
Thank you in advance for your reply, I can only hope you are able to view this and  answer my inquiry....

Tim Simon at Domari just left me a voicemail on my cell phone.  He says that he has a great opportunity in my area that he would like to discuss with me.  After reading the posts here I am not going to call him back.  I'll see if he will call me back first.
