These people keep calling me,they had been calling all day about some bs about $500 gift card and $40 gas card that i won....Who the hell are these people? I called the number back every time and push 1 for the do not called list and they still calling.....If its not 1 number its another number the same f$$$ken people...ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!! S$$T...!  
They just called again this time from 323-429-7540!!!! The same INDIAN GUY! This is some S$$T...

This number has called me twice today. It came up as being from California...I didn't answer because I have no reason to communicate with anyone from California. Figured it was some B.S. sales gimmic...and it looks as if I am correct.

I got a call from the same number 9492569139 for a $200 free Gas card  with only shipping fee of $4.95.. and person the other side who sounded like an Indian wanted to talk to my wife. Further he asked to verify my address and card number from my wife. I took the phone and talked to him about why should I give him my card number. He compelled me a lot and I told him my card but messed up some digits in my card number and told him a randomized card number. He told me that this card does not belong to me and then he started yelling me. I just told him that I dont want any free voucher and I hung up the phone. He called me back in 5 minutes and told me that I will be in big trouble by telling him a wrong card number which belongs to someone named "Michael". I hanged up the phone and called up my bank to verify this issue. I am wondering whether I should have told a wrong card number and will it cause me any trouble.

NOBODY give ANY information to this caller. It is a SCAM to get your credit card number. My local police station has been notified, but if you wish, I urge you to call your local police. Maybe these scammers can be stopped if enough people are involved. I feel bad for anyone who has already fallen for this scam. I'm lucky to have a smart boyfriend who would not give them any information. That's how we know it was a scam, because they got very confrontational, then we googled the number and found this site and reported the scam to the local police.

in the above message that was written by me, i have mentioned the caller as American Auto... This was told to me by the caller.  I later checked american auto company website and I think they lied by naming  themselves as marketing callers from American Auto. I would like to clarify here that this name was told to me by the caller and I am not naming this company name by myself. I am now sure that American auto DID NOT call me by going through all the messages in this blog.

I got a call about 15 minutes ago from Jason telling me I had a $500 gift card for groceries which sounded cool until he said I would have to pay $30 shipping fee. I told him I am not interested in his scam. I told him he was a fraud and that I was reporting him to the better business bureau. I told him to lose this number etc and hung up

same here..but when i told him i wasnt going to pay the 3.95 shipping and handling fee, he got really irate and asked me why i was wasting his time.  Now..mind you, i have told 3 people in the last 2 days to stop calling...i decided to hear this guy out.  I told them i wasnt going to fall for their scam and he got mad and started yelling, but i hung up on him.

Just got the call too. Told me i'd won $200 gas giftcard. He wanted me to pay $3.95 in postage and I asked why giftcard didn't just need an envelope and stamp?  He said it was in a package. I declined the offer giving no address or bank info. I never would on the phone. The number was 949 256 9139, and he said he represented American Auto Benefits.

who dosen't shop at Walmart?

Since I am an 18 year old girl (living in Washington) that doesn't shop at any of the afore mentioned companies, I'm also curious as to how they got my number. If anyone figures out a connection I'd be interested in the theory.

I don't fill out online quizzes and such, I use google, facebook and keez mostly. I'm not sure there's anything outside those websites that I use the web for. I also don't give my number to stores that ask for it, or even my school.

just recieved a phone call from that number. I felt it was legit until he said you have randomly been selected for the card and i told him im not familiar with the reward program they are running. Said he was located in clear water floriday obviously not true and wanted my card number. I told him i do not feel comfortable giving him that information and he seemed determined to prove to me that its legit. I hung up on him and he called me right back? i told him to take that gas card and shove it up his foreign ass.

i just talked to a guy,indian...omg i gave the card number....usually i don't do this but this time i don't know what happened...so in one minute i googled them and i found all this messages so with all my body shaking i called my bank to cancel my card at least, so .....they already sent a request on my account and i have no idea how much..i will see tomorrow....thank you for telling to persons like me the truth.....

I got a call from this number, since I don't know it, I didn't answer.  Then I googled the number, wow, I can't believe it's a scam thing...glad I didn't, apparently, reading through these messages they will call back, and I'll just have to either ignore it or answer it and get rude...we'll see.

Yeah so I keep getting calls from this number for the past few days. I've only answered it a few times and its always a guy saying "hello my name is micheal, how are you doing?" Its pretty creepy. The first time I got a call from the number the guy..or person has strong like Australian accent. I really wish they'd stop calling.

According to my missed calls, they tried calling me twice today.. thankfully, I was at work and didn't have the time to answer. I have family in CA, so I thought maybe it's an emergency call. Thank God for this website and our online community i have been saved from an aweful scam! I think it's best not to answer their calls or call them back and dial 1.. this might be an indication to them (scammers) that you actively use your phone and call you more frequently throughout the day. Everybody DO NOT answer and NEVER give out personal info!

i just started getting these calls today at 6 am and its noon and i have 5 missed calls from them...called back and they asked if i wanted to be off the list push 1 so i did, let see if it works...the number was 1-949-256-9139 looked it up before calling back found out they are scammers...

i pushed 1 to be took off list hour ago and they are calling back again how the hell do i get them to stop? i got a toddler and new baby and their calling is waking them up from their nap time...grrrr.
