Spoke with someone named Matt who asked if we were still interested in refinancing our home. He indicated that his information was from last Feb 2012. It has been 3-4 years since we were trying to refinance. The caller Id list the caller as Prospect Mortage but the 800 contact number he gave is different than the 800 number for Prospect Mortage. Not sure if it is legitimate or a scam.

I got the a voice mail today too.  The guy said his name was "Mufasa" but I guess it could have been "Matt Fasa"?

I am currently finalizing a loan with Prospect Mortgage and I emailed my agent and he has no idea who that person or why someone else, from their company, would be calling me.

Chalk it up to someone looking for extra business.

I've been receiving 2-4 calls from this number every day for 2 weeks. They never leave a message and when I picked it up once, it was dead silent. GRR!!!! Freaking prankers!

Caller was Mitchell. Said he was calling to verify info on my mortgage. Wanted to transfer me to a loan officer to see if I qualify for a better interest rate, as a reward to their best customers. Had a lot of info on my home, but nothing that couldn't be found on the internet. Told him I would not be verifying any info. Hard to know if it was a scam or not, but not worth the risk.

they have called as last as 1 in  the morning, no messages or voicemail left- annoying, disrespectful- I have a newborn child, and the calls disturbs them sleeping-

It is Prospect Mortgage and they are shysters. In this case, they were offering me free "concierge" service for my new home. No thanks. FU.

I just got missing called 2 times from this number. I called back the guy name David said his wrok for Prospect he also know's my name.  I am currently finalizing a loan with Prospect Mortgage. I think Prospect Mortgage sell thire customer's info to other company. I will going to complain to my loan agent that they should on sell and thier customer's info.

Constant nonstop harassing calls even after being told do not call again and have number on do not call list

its legit. especially if you used realtor.com and entered any information about looking for a mortgage
