CID came up universal crd. I didn't answer and they left no message. a few minutes after that a different
number from laure MD called. I answer was a robo saying "hello, I assume this is your business, I hung up

Will try to sell you "better" credit card rates for your small business.
Their pricing scheme and contracts are deceptive, please protect yourself.
Will never stop calling you once they have your number.
I get a call from these people at least once every two or three days.

Yet another "lower your credit card interest rate" scam call.  Interesting enough, they have a new way to try to get you to answer.  You don't answer and they call you a second time in less than a minute.

Caller ID says Sherie Ballard and identified herself as such.  Looking for the owner or manager's name, says we were referred to her.  Told her I could help her, she didn't need a name and hung up.

some lady called asking to speak to the owner of the business, told her she had the wrong number and hung up.

Jennifer with Small Business Growth Alliance asked for the owner or manager.  I told her we are corporate owned and she hung up.

Called asking for manager during closed hours. They wouldn’t take an email address and didn’t state there name or company

Jennifer with Small Business Growth Alliance called me today.   Definitely a scam!

Credit Card Scammer

Supposedly Virginia Rich with small business alliance. Asked for the owner and said I was bit too busy to talk and I hung up. If I get another call I’ll block the number.

got a call about 20 minutes ago, saying they could help lower my credit card rates by 50%, gave them an email address, sounds too good to be true. Say they will send me a whole new system as well because they are buying out my lease. Good thing I searched them up online.

Called our business stating they can give better credit card rates for merchant processing. Told them no thanks, we are under contract with another provider. FYI, credit card companies set the rates. These people can't give you a better rate, but they can scam you by saying you need to use THEIR equipment and charge you through the roof to use it....buyer beware!

this weird English accent guy from something called "business alliance" called to our store asking for my personal info in order to set up our CLOVER system..."double weird". Of course I denied to give him any personal info without having an email first from the company I could check. After this hi hung up.

Women called and asked to speak to the owner. She was directed to me (manager). I asked how I could help her. She demanded to speak to the owner. I asked if she was a client. She said yes. I asked her last name (so I could look her up and assist her) She responded with "Are you the person who makes financial decisions"? I explained that depended on the subject and asked how I could help her. She tersely demanded to speak to the owner. I explained I would be happy to help her, however I needed more information from her first. She "growled" and hung up. I then looked up this number and there are several blogs like this on with the same spiel. UGGGG

Asking for business owner.  Some credit service garbage call.  When I asked to be removed from the calling list, she said there is not list.  Kept talking and talking not listening to me.  Had to hang up.  Likely using prerecorded responses.  Or, maybe a robot.  Very rude system.

Called my business twice now claiming to be Clover which is lying right off the bat. Kept trying to close me with if you have two minutes spiel- comes in as anonymous but 949 attached- told caller I am skeptical of this call. Tried to have me ask my Clover rep for the legitimacy of their call- quite pushy

Called in the middle of rush demanding to speak to owner. I said They're not available during peak hours. She said they'd call back. I said "good luck reaching the owner!" I will never entertain their ploys.

Called our restaurant six times in a row asking for the owner, said they were the small business alliance, told them we were not interested and they continue to harass us at least three times a day. They are scammers, please beware!!!! (Bria Hickman, Roya Zahedi, Maranda Justice, Patrick White)

Claims to be some business coop & wanted to speak w owner?  I asked her if she was AI & she started laughing w a Tennessee accent & said "Goodness NO!"  I told her that she had better be looking around for a better job than getting hung up on all day and it won't be long before she will be replaced by a robotic voice doing her job.  Then she starts trying to schedule someone to come to my business place to sell me something?   I said, I don't even know what the hell your selling and you are trying to make an appt for Friday??  Then I lost the connection and put the number her the SPAM reject list...lol!
