- Demetria Warrior| 1 replyWhy is this number calling my cell phone and how did they get the number
- Kat replies to Demetria WarriorThey probably didn't "get" your number but are instead simply calling all numbers in a given sequence. If they don't identify themselves on the caller ID or leave a message, just block the number.
- AnnieUnknown number so I did not answer they left no message. I called back. When they picked up for half a minute then hung up.
- PCalled for someone who doesn't work here anymore. I could hear a radio going in the background with really bad music. Other people were talking to people on the phone. Sounded a lot like a boiler room.
- VISION CENTERwarranty for vehicle, told them to remove us from call list since we are a business, called back today and hung up when answered.

- MichelleThis number called me at work last week on 8/8 and then today, 8/15. Left no message either time. They must have my number set up on the weekly robo call list!! Wish they'd go away.
- TThis number has called me 5 times this week alone. I don't answer since my phone lists it as "Scam Likely" on the ID.
Never leave message. But they call and other numbers asking me about Car Warranty. - TC replies to GetARealJobShould have answered and asked if the swallows had returned yet.
- T800Robocaller| 1 replyThe two people I spoke with both said that they were with “Motor Vehicle Services”.
When I asked if they have a website I was told it is http://www.royaladmin.com/ I believe it is a vendor website. I don't think they have one of their own.
They said that they don't allow “call backs”. They claimed the reason is that they don't want people to wait until their vehicles have a mechanical issue to get coverage. I really enjoyed the irony of telemarketers not wanting me to call them.
They knew my name, what car I drive, and my old address.
They also claimed to have been sending me letters in the mail. I haven't received anything from them but I used to get really sketching letters from “Repair Defense Network” when I lived at the old address they have on file. I looked up both companies on the Better Business Bureau website and they appear to be operating very close to each other so they may be related businesses.

- MikeHuntleton replies to T800RobocallerA quick look at that website is clearly a car dealership and not the States DMV services. Anyone who gets a call from this number saying it is the DMV is obviously lying to you and spamming that dealership and /or Warranty services. I would report them to the DMV and let them know this company is using them as a means to market themselves over the phone.
Using the name is obviously for deception to victims they call. - Annoyed!!!I got an unexpected call from an unrecognized Out-Of-State number. No message was left. As usual, I did not answer, and I looked the number up here. (800Notes is my go-to.) Thank you all for posting your experiences! I will be adding this number to my "Telemarketer" contact, which has a silent ringtone and is blocked. (I won't be bothered by this number again, except to delete "Telemarkter - Scammer" from my "Recents" list.) An Unexpected Unrecognized Out-Of-State Number + No Message = Scamarketer.

- MarkThis was an automated call from "Motor Vehicle Services" out of Orange Co. California testing to see if your phone number is still active. They submit requests for people buying vehicles from a dealer which is public information, and call you to purchase "extended warranty" for the vehicle. Its a scam, but its still fun to play with them. I currently have a battle on with them, they keep calling about a car I don't even own anymore. Turn them in to the FCC complaint center and they'll get enough complaints to investigate them. Gotta get their address though.
