Got this strange person calling about a summons and wanted me to contact this number 949-478-0206.

Caller had a social security number saying there was a summons - blocked number - claller was an [***].  Somebody get his number and lets turn him in.  Was intimidating

I got a phone call on my father's home phone for me from some guy saying that I had some kind of "legal" issue and that if I didnt resolve it further action would be taken against me. and to call this number for the name of the lawyers firm that hired them. 949-478-0206. I of course did not call and erased the message but still my father is in his 70's and thinks that everytime you get one of these calls that it is legit and you should call them back. I don't have any legal issues in the state of california, I haven't lived there in 20+ years.

These people continue to call and harass members of our family and when we give them a case # they then want our name and info and I tell them that you called with a case # so you should have our info and you should know my name.  Then they say that they can't help us and they hang up.  The # they are calling form is 1-94-478-0206.

My mom received a call from a blocked number with a message to relay to me.  The person stated he was from a Law firm (which he called Stevens and Associates) and they were calling on behalf of CCR to collect a debt.  He stated that I had 2 hours to respond or a summons to appear in court would be issued.  HE HAD MY SSN!!!  When I called back,  he would not give me his full name or the lawyers name and address and hung up on me.  I called again and he then told me the Lawyers name was John Stevens and gave me this address

Mind you this was after a VERY long pause/hold.  He then hung up on me again.....
I called my State Attorney Generals office and was told this was a scam.  It is against the law for a company to make threatening phone calls.  My AG office also stated that I should tell my family and friends not to answer of give any information to these ppl if they call again.

I just recieved a voice mail message stating that they were looking for my ex husbands step son and called my cell phone.  and told me to call back the 949-478-0206 number.  I don't know how they got my phone number.  This is the second time they called for him and called my number.
