Got a call that went directly to voicemail from "Tim" from"underwriting" about getting approval for working capital for our company.  Don't have a company. Scam by a more articulate and professional-sounding telemarketer than most.

Thank you, AzRez, for your post!  I got the VERY SAME script in my voice mail just moments ago.  It, too, went directly to voice mail without ringing.  I do own a company, and nearly called back if only to ask "WTH?!".  Thanks for saving me the time and effort!

This was the call I received in my voicemail:

"t's Tim calling. Hi there it's Tim calling you from underwriting. I'm just calling you about the working capital approval we have your company here. If you can just give me a call so we can go over the details. My direct line is area code 949-478-3944. Thanks have a great day. Bye bye."

Same as above.  My cell never rang;  I just got the VM notification ring.  I have already reported another number "Tim" has used before...this guy calls from a different spoofed number about 3X a week.  Always the same spiel - he makes you think from his message that you are already working with him about your "business funding" and that he's just trying to reach you about a few details.  What is particularly alarming is whatever technology is being used completely circumvents blocking his number, as your phone never rings yet he still has the ability to leave you the same crap VM message.  B E W A R E ! !

It's not spoofed as you can call them back.  Just keep calling them, over and over. Tell them just what you think of their scam. Tell them how much you love lowlife telemarketing scumbags. Tell them repeatedly. Then file complaints at donotcall.gov and fcc.gov

Got a call stating that I have been approved for a business loan. Called this clown Tim and some other schmuck picked up. I asked how he got my number and why is he blasting phone messages without consent. The guy peed his pants and hung up. Total Scam.

How is that even possible?

I received the exact same voice message as those listed above. An intelligent sounding man left me a voicemail saying he was Tim from underwriting and was calling me about a working capital approval for my business. I did NOT apply for any such thing. I called the number back and another guy answered and was very very rude.

Almost certainly a scam of some sort.  If you call that number you get a robo-greeter saying "Julie" is not hear to take your message.  Just ignore and block the number.

I got identical voicemail 2 weeks ago from different number.  Phone doesn't ring, voicemail just arrives.
