Keeps calling my number and when I answer they hang up

REPEAT CALLS, ONLY HANGING UP!
Called my phone MULTIPLE times this morning. When I answer they hang up.  I called back, a man answered "hello"  I explained that I have gotten calls, and want them to stop. He simply said, "what # are you calling"  I read it back to him and he hung up.

16 calls from the following numbers all looking for someone named Chris.  Won't give company name.  when I ask them to remove the number, they hang up.

calling me at 5:21 and 6:05 in the morning. I answer and no answer back.... not nice to call so early.

I have had my phone blow up since 6am, First time I answered they just hung up. I just now (at 12:30pm) answered again and this time a guy asked if I wanted to sign up for insurance. I told him "No. I have been called repeatedly since 6am, please stop." He said he will put me on a do not call list, we'll see. These are the numbers that have called:

These people are horrible.

This number now totals 16 different numbers that I have received in the last two and half weeks.

Yes this is an unwanted insurance telemarketer. I told them so many times to stop and it seems to make them call more.
It is because Obama needs people to sign up for Obuma care, they can't make their quota one guy said. what a scam!!!

Someone requested an insurance quote and used your number instead of theirs so they could get information without solicitation calls.  how do I know?  all those numbers and 24 more have called me in the last week.  Some guy probably just transposed the last 4 digits of his number to avoid calls and instead unleashed hell on me...

This number has called me 3 times within the last 15 minutes. I have no Idea who they are, I have them on call block, but the number still shows up on my logs. This is harassment and I would like to know how and who to report them. Its a shame I have to keep my phone on vibrate all the time now because of so many unknown companies are calling me all the time. In one day I had 30 calls. This has been going on for several weeks now, and I am getting really tired of it.

What possible thought process suggested that we called you,  your caller reads your posts here, or your post will effectively stop calls to you?
