The ROBO-caller at 269-978-1233, "Jonathon," transfers calls to Maximum Security Alarm, Inc., Sacramento, CA, and Max Security claims not to know who does their robo-calling. See www.mymaximumsecurityalarm.com for their address and telephone number. They also have an office in Orange County.

According to posts (on this site), Maximum Security Alarm has been making these calls for at least two years. I started a site to help collect information about these calls so we can put an end to it once and for all.

Monitronics other large dealer VMS Alarms is likely using the same vendor. They claim that it is an offshore call center based in India but refuse to identify the company or provide any additional details. Questions to Monitronics were referred to their outside counsel. Nice having a lawyer call you back and asking "what do you want?". Simple. Stop making these unlawful calls.

Keep in mind that this is technique is wide spread in the industry, not unique to Monitronics or the Dealers in question. I've had calls from ADT and Security Networks authorized dealers too. It's the industry's dirty little secret and it MUST stop.
