got multiple calls from this number, which was logged as "Hireright LLC," asking about employment verification at my company for a person I've never heard of.

Calling from a company called "Hireright" and asking for employment verification for someone I've never heard of

Asking for an employees information who haven't worked for me for 4 years and can't contact back.

Caller had a heavy accent and I could barely understand them, several second wait after I said hello to resond. Stated they were recording the call, which I didn't consent to . I asked what the call was about they attempted to place me on hold. Call was made around 7:39 am. Seemed like spam so I hung up.

Same as previous...  Heavy accent, recorded line for employment verification for Braden Gallet - who has never worked her.  I hung up and she called right back.

"HireRight" wanted employment verification of an employee and was quite a bit off on the name.

the call came up as 'spam likely' so it went to VM. They left a VM asking for verification, VERY thick accent, and it sounded windy? as though they were outside. the call back number they left was 800 331 9175, but it was hard to understand. i will not be calling back.

This is a call from a 3rd party, Hire Right, whom some companies outsource to do DOT employment verifications.  Unfortunately, they seem to outsource oversees and the people who call to do thse EV have very thick accents, but they speak and understand English well.
