VERY RUDE caller. Wouldn't tell me who he worked for or what he wanted. Rude with an attitude.

Don't fall for these walk-in tub scams.  They tried to sell my elderly father one of these.  Thank god I was able to stop it in time.

Got it today. Am on DNC list, too. Rejected the call.

Received a call from these people, let the answering machine kick in,something about tubs and showers.I filed a complaint on the DNC list.Our local newspaper had a very interesting article on how the telemarketers are
circumventing the DNC list..by not caring and using what is called "burn phones" no ability to trace and they change numbers when they grab the next phone and throw away the other one.According to the article they sit with a pile of "burn phones" and a waste basket.People are getting so fed up the FTC is up to their wazoos
with complaints.In April alone the complaints were 213,000 complaints about just one telemarketer.The article went on to say the telemarketers are suppose to check the DNC list every 31 days, they don't....and the companies change location so much the FTC cannot keep track.I am fed up ,any suggestions?

Caller ID said Wireless caller  Bob from Home Safety Bath and shower said they would have people in my area available for measurements in the next few days.  Told him not interested.

got the call from 951-216-0982. Did not answer.  We're Also on the DO NOT CALL LIST, and as others have mentioned, these harrassing calls seem to be increasing daily in the last month or so. We get no less than 4 UNKNOWN's, no less than 2 calls a day from "0000", and at least 3 or 4 from numbers such as this one EVERY DAY !

How much you wanna bet these scum bags are using a list sold to them by AARP!

Also did not answer the phone on this one - as I have received many political questionaires, threatening calls about how they are trying to get hold of us about our credit card debt (scam, telemarketer). Does not leave message - comes across on answer machine as a 'fax' sound. Again, I am on the DNC list but it doesn't seem to help with these type of telemarketers..............Hope this isn't the type of 'job' we are proud of creating..............

Tyipical...now that I've read through the comments.  I got the call as well, while ON a business call on my other line.  The guy was rude, so.... he got what he gave in treatment.  I don't mind "lighting up" those telemarketers OR bogus collection agencies (usually trying to track down someone who doesn't and never has lived here)..... ;-)

When I asked who was calling, she said she was Nicole with Home Safety Bath and Showers

10/11  2:45pm - Unknown Name - Caller talked over my answering message so his words (it was a man) were not recorded.  Sounded like he was using swear words.  IF they were following the guide lines of DNC they would not be calling my home.  Scammers for sure.

I'm on the DNC list also....name said "Wireless Caller" and they did not talk to the machine...

Called and hung up several times but finally when I answered after one ring this guy said he was soliciting votes for Romney. I think it's a conspiracy.

Caller asked for me by first name, identified herself, and said she was calling on behalf of company that had walk-in tubs.  When asked if she was selling something, she responded with I'm not selling anything, only providing information.  I said, "well how wonderful for me and how sweet of you to call."  She hung up.

Received a call and finally decided to deal with it.  I now have a whisle next to the phone which I answer with. I am on the DNC list but this is to enforce that fact.

Some creep trying to sell me a bathtub. Why did I get this call since I am the Do Not Call list?

Had the same call and gave the same reply that my husband was on a temp job and we had no money.  He said "there was no obligation to buy"... but then why waste your time?... only if his sales guy would be high-pressuring us for sure.  When I tried to say AGAIN we had no money he became very rude and arrogant and said, "Obviously you don't understand free" and hung up on me.  Won't do business with such a company.  I didn't catch the name of this company so ALL walk-in tub dealers are off my list now!  They also blocked their number after the call so Caller ID wouldn't pick it up.  Luckily we have another unit which records as it comes in... Hey!  We can reverse the call and harass this a$$

One thing you can do when they say they have people in your neighborhood is ask them, Oh! Which neighbor are you visiting so I can get a good reference for you?  They usually can't give an answer which proves it's all BS.
