recieved a call on my cell  from a foreign woman looking for Julita Hoff saying she is from the "legal department", and there is a judgement against Julita. Bogus company I called them back and they hung up

Please stop calling my home treating me with legal action. I had my lawyer listen to the message that you left on my answer machine with treats to call the law.If you should have any question that you need to ask me feel free to contact my lawyer and you can get the answer you need from there.

They are saying that they will have no other choice but to take legal action against my social security number if I don't call them back. The message was from someone by the name of Sarah. The number they called me from was 951-223-6693 and I did call them back, the phone rang a few times then went to a weird ring but nobody answered so I hung up

These calls are coming out of a Scamming Boiler Room in India or pakistan.   They haven't fully understood that their is no such thing as taking legal action against a social security number.   SCAM  SCAM  SCAM

This Number Started Harrassing Me On May 4th. Calling Repeatedly Claiming There Is A Lawsuit Against My Social Security Number? I Knew That Wasnt Possible. So When i Called Them Back They Gave A Different Law Office Name. The Harrassing Went As Far As To Calling My Job and Leaving A Message. The Indian Guy/ Foreign Guy Asked Me Was I A "[***]" and I Responded Are You A "Terrorist"...I Ended Up Calling And Having Verizon Block This Number.

I received a call today at my employment from a heavy accented male, (sound as if he’s from India) stating that someone tried to reach me and I need to call this number 951-223-6693 immediately because there are criminal charges against my social security number. He asked if I had an attorney and that I could get more info at that number to ask for Kevin Peterson.
Just curious of way someone would call and say something of sort when I know there are no criminal charges against me and for no reason, I just called the number to further investigate what really what going on.
I called the number and I received a beep, as if they wanted me to leave a message. I hung up the phone Weird...people don't have better things to do with their time these days?

I keep getting phone calls from this number telling me i took out a loan and that they are pressing criminal charges against me i have not requested for any loan at all this is fraud to steal money from you...

JUST TO LET ANYONE AND EVERYONE KNOW  1) CRIMINAL CHARGES CAN'T BE FILED AGAINST SOMEONE'S S.S. #, AND   2) EVEN IF YOU DO BORROW MONEY FROM A LENDING AGENCY, THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PRESS CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST YOU FOR IT. IT'S STATES THAT IN THE LENDER'S PRIVACY POLICY OR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THESE "PEOPLE", AND I'M USING PEOPLE LIGHTLY, ARE TOO LAZY TO GET A REAL JOB, AND THEY BELIEVE AMERICANS ARE STUPID. I TOLD THEM I WAS FILING CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST THEM.

This number called me I patiently listened as they read the affidavit and then I told him I'm recording his call and it's going to the police department he tried to talk but I kept talking over him and hung up and then a few minutes later I got another call from a different number it was the same guy speaking in his language I guess he thought I understood him and I started cussing and he hung up. These people deserve the worst of the worst to be doing this absolutely wasting my time!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I have also been getting calls from this number and when I talked to the non American speaking male. I told him to stop calling and that I would be contacting the attorney generals office in my state and he just kept saying just wait for the legal  action to take place and hung up on me. I then called back and got the same person and I ask what his name was and he asked  what did I need that for, and I told him to give it to the attorney generals office and his reply was you don't need my name you can just use the phone number. He then told me what my ssn was and what my address was and again said just wait for the authorities to come to my address and hung up on me again.

I also received a call at my job from a supposedly State's Attorney's Office. The phone # was 951-223-6693.  I was told not to ignore the message.  I called back and asked for a Mr. Curtis Jackson who was definately an Indian male. He told me that I had 3 charges against me for a Cash Advance.  I told him I did not receive any money from a Cash Advance, and he replied "Yeah right".  He said that money was deposited into my account, and that when they tried to extract their payment they couldn't.  I again told him I did not receive any money.   He told me the sheriff would be coming to my job and at my home to serve me with warrants.  I told him go ahead, and then I called my local sheriff's office, and they told me to contact the Attorney General, and report this.

i got the same call at first i was a bit woorried but after reading this and making some investigation about the number i have to agree with you this is a scam

I asked the individual what company they were representing, Inidian male stated he was from California State Attorneys office. I made the person wait and looked up the district office numbers and they didn't match the number he called from.

I will be filing charges with the State and US attorney's office. For misrepresentation, impersonation of a officer of the court, etc.

These people have been harassing me at work in addition to my personal cell phone.  They are threatening me stating they are from the Attorney Generals office and if I do not currently have a lawyer then I am being sued.  Another call was to harass me stating a sheriff will be at my work place in less than an hour to pick me up and take me down town to the local police department if I did not go to the nearest CVS or Walgreens and make a $500.00 payment to them for an outstanding check that did not clear?  They threatened to even come to my home

My husband was off work yesterday (Monday, May 13, 2013) so he gets a message today from the receptionist saying call this number back 951-223-6693 from the state's attorney office. So when he told me I did my research and found this site....so excited because my gut told me it wasn't legit. Thanks you all for sharing! After my investigating we noticed a he had a voice message from this Indian male saying if he did not call them back about this legal matter he would be sorry. Needless to say were not returning the call. Thanks again everyone!!

This number has called me 227 times in a 24 hour period. SCAM SCAM SCAM dont be fooled.

i got like this all the time little do they know there calling a state goverment number at my work there bogus company they got a way of getting soc-number online some how and call you to scare money out of you. every time ppl get a paday loan online you soc is open for business
