This phone number 951-319-2790 is legit - but from an inmate in County Jail. To speak with them you need to prepay.

Call came in and was not answered.  Message left which was unclear.  After checking it was found to be a jail number.  I blocked it per standard procedure.

Call came in tonight and was not answered.  This is a legitimate but unwanted number from a jail.  I blocked the number because this is a nuisance call to me!

It is not legit it is a scam. Perhaps you are in on the scam.

This ph# called me 3X in a row on a Sun AM. I live in SoCal, but right now in the Midwest, so it would've been around 9:30a PST. If it is from a jail I don't know anyone who's locked up right now that would be calling me. Gonna block it just on spec.

Seems to be from unknown person calling collect from a jail. Don’t know anyone incarcerated

I'm in NJ and they called at 1 am. Doesn't sound like a typical message you would get, usually gives the person's name and asks if you accept the charges... Sounds sketchy to me. No mention of the facility either

yeah its a jail number , i answered them because i thought it was another one of my friends that were locked up but turns out they find your number and name left on a cell, so supposedly they get lonely and call you so you can talk to them. it gives you a pretty sketchy message tho ngl
