The caller insisted that a debt of $1700 was owed for an outstanding balance.  If not paid, I would be taken to court and forced to pay for all of the court costs and attorneys involved.  I gave my debit card number over the phone and they withdrew $1000, then said it would all be for nothing if I didn't come up with $700 more within the next three days but I didn't have it.  When I tried to call the company it's always an answering machine and at first they said they were United FP and the next time I called they said they were PLG!  I definitely got scammed because no has called me since, they just took my money and ran!
