I receive hang up calls from this telephone number 951-555-0177 through out the day. Early as 8:00 a.m until 9:50 p.m.  I would like for these calls to stop.

Called at 12:27 PM. Caller Id said: DIR ASST CA.
I did not answer

It's someone - a telemarketer - pretending to be from Microsoft. I blocked them. Be suspicious of any phone number containing the digits 555-0, in that order. It will be this same telemarketer using several different phone numbers. I got this info from other victims of this bunch of dolts. If you have a certain model of Panasonic phone, you can block these numbers. Best of luck!!

I hate to receive calls from that  company. They are very insistant even impolites and agressives. They prétend that my computer is in danger. My area code is 819 and they dont speak french.

Called my house at 10:34 PM. We have a lawyer locally who tackles these types of illegal calls. Yes, it's a scam, calling me "about my computer, is that okay?"  I went off like a rocket, informing them that it was NOT okay to call at this time, and told them I knew for a FACT this was a scam - then read them the riot act & hung up on them.  Zero tolerance for this crap.  Report to the FCC since this number is being spoofed for the callback (the number isn't live - it's a dummy number).  The FCC tackles the spoofed calls, the FTC handles the rest of what these con artists are attempting to do.

Occasionally the caller ID will read: 'Directory Assistance (State)', in this case CA. These numbers are always spoofs, and can be recognized by the 555 prefix. No directory assistance service ever makes calls to customers; they only receive calls.

Caller indicated that they were from Microsoft Technical Support and that they are calling people that have computer issues. First it was a lady with an indian accent. I told her that I could not understand her. She then transferred me to her supervisor who also had an accent. I told them I needed to speak to someone without an accent. Another transfer to another gentleman named David who still had an accent. He told me that my computer was sending information that was causing issues and that I must not be tech savvy or have antivirus and he needed to assist  in correcting it. If not he would revoke my Microsoft office license and cause my computer to not work. I asked if he was threatening me. He said yes. I hung up on him. They called back from 937-555-0176 an Ohio  number. Still threatening to revoke my license.
