Received a call from a man who said his name is David Greenberg, wanting to know if I am selling my house. Well David, do you see a for sale sign or MLS listing? No? Then why are you calling me out of the blue to ask for personal information? I looked up his info and this is a bottom-feeder phishing for information from property owners. Don't fall for it. I have no idea if his employer, a hotel investment firm called Marcus & Millichap, knows that he is using their work number for phishing calls or if this is a new business model for their company. Either way, don't give out any information to anyone who calls you out of the blue like this.
