A Person from Hollywood Florida (954) 251-0284  keeps calling my home and place of employment several times a day and claims to be "Michael Clayton"  (I wonder if he looks like Clooney?)  Anyway - he claims to be calling on behalf of some criminal investigative division on behalf of his client - some sleazy online payday advance place.  My wife and I never received any money from this place, yet they call her 5 times a day at work demanding money and making threats.  They are rude and unprofessional and their demeanor is loud, abusive and harrassing,  Anyone else out there heard of this [***]?  *Please advise.....

Got a call from "Adam Knight" calling from a similar "Lombardo Firm" looking for a "Tyrone White".   It was laughable, as you could hear people in the background and he screwed up his own message.  

Received similar messages several months ago, also looking for a "Tyrone White".   Those calls came from Washington State.

I called back, told him this was widely known on the internet and I was keeping track of the calls.   Not surprisingly, he hung up.

Keep getting the same calls. Nothing sounds legit about the calls. Anyone figures out how to solve the problem?? Does the FTC help?

Contacting the FTC doesn't hurt.  Why not let the proper authorities know about it?  

One thing that can help is calling the bluff of the callers.   You know it's not legit, so don't let their threats bother you.  Just tell them you know their call is a scam and that you'll report them.

Received a call from Amanda Adams of Lombardo, Sutherland and Myers   claiming to represent their client Tior Capital, an online payday loan company. She claimed she was calling to collect on a payday advance made in december 2010. I told her I never get payday loans ever. I never do on line banking, only deal face to face with my personal banker. Told her I was calling authorities to make a police report.

I have submitted a complaint with the national do not call registy. All with the FCC. I have had several family & friends being harrassed by this number. We are turning it over to every one.
