called my cell phone.  no message.  any ideas?

Calls daily, no message. When i called back, someone answered and said "Good Afternoon." I said that i'm returning a call, and he put me on hold. Next someone picked up and said three initials very quickly and their name (also very quickly). I said, "I'm sorry, repeat that?" The woman said, "Ms. Harris...please hold." and put me on hold again. At this point i just hung up.

This is a debt collection agency for federal school loans that have gone into default.  The staff is actually pretty decent to talk to.  My only complaint is that they will call four, five, six times a day.

Why call me?  I have no student loans and have yet to go to college.  I am in my 60s so what gives?  If the are trying to find out about my kids, they would have to call them directly.

What kind of place is this? They called me 1 day after the 7th anniversary of my father's death and asked me if I knew my father?!!! WTH? This is rude and insensitive.

My student loans have all long been paid off. And they called asking if I knew MY FATHER??? (He's been dead for 7 years.) So, how is that related to a student loan? And, if they're just calling people randomly with the same last name that's a pretty POOR way to do business. They should not even be calling me since I'm on the DO NOT CALL list and I have had no prior business with them. They are in violation and I will be happy to report them even if they may not be so bad as you say.

They call my work number and asked to confirm my last 4 digits of social security. I've never gradutae college in US and i have no student loans and no other debts. I don;t know what tthey want but don't give away any of your personal information to them.

They called asking for my son who hasn't spoken to me in years.  I just got this phone number and have a different last name.  My x doesn't even have this number so how'd they find me and why are they asking about my son?

They called my house and my cell and left no messages. I don't have ANY student loans so don't know why they are calling me.

Harassment

I receive several annoying  calls from this number every day. a message is never left. it is rude and bothersome and needs to stop now!

Got a call from this number, they told me I won 15 million dollars and a brand new Mercedes! Then they asked for my name and the FIRST 4 of my ssn, they said to verify I was the winner. I hung up after that.

Number
