- Ken SpellCalled from this number 6 times in 24 hours, repeatedly telling me I had been approved for a loan up to 25,000. I have not and will not ask anybody for a loan. They identified themselves as Gobank (Gold Bank?), and said to press 1 for their loan officer. I don't want, don't need, and dislike these calls intensely.

- Bev Maurstad| 1 replyI received a phone call and the representative said I was approved for a $10,000 loan. He sent me the documents to review date and sign. Company name was Speedyloan from fort Lauderdale, fl. Paperwork looked and all appears professional. Documents were downloaded, reviewed and dated and signed by me. After all this was completed he to call him back. So I called him. Now he wanted me to go to Walmart and once there he said to call him. I kept asking him WHY, WHY he wanted me to do this for a loan. He informed me that there is a $200 fee that needs to be paid before funds are issued to my bank. I thought to myself ya this makes sense because my credit score was on the low end So got to Walmart and called him as he requested. He said to go to the money cards and check if there is a card for Ebay. My suspicions were high at this point because he could have verified and I could have paid the fee from my checking account. The rep. and I were going around and around about this. He then said that he would have his manager talk to me about this Ebay gift card and why it was necessary for this loan. So another man spoke with me about this and pretty much said the same thing. Both men had a India accent. I didn't follow through with their request. I told both of them that I was going to check out their business with the BBB in Florida. If legitimate I said that I would call back.

- Tygerkat replies to Bev MaurstadOf course it's not legitimate! Why would a legitimate loan company want an eBay gift card?! Short answer: they wouldn't.
- PedroAs I was reading the comments, they called back, and I answered it. Told me about my loan application, and said if I was interested to press one. I don’t have any loan applications outstanding, and if I did, I would certainly be interested. Ignore the call.

- BigA replies to AndreaSo, they somehow managed to "hack" in your "E account". How would they even know that you have that account? Now they are being investigated and you are going to call them up tomorrow to what? Tell them that so that they get get out of dodge?
