954-323-4434

I received a call today from 954-323-4434, leaving me a message that said, "This is Linda from Medical Network.  Please return my call @ 866-540-2726.  It is in regards to your Visa."  So I call the 866 number back.  It rings forever and then LINDA answers the phone.  I told her I was returning her call.  She says she is calling in regards to my rx and needed to know if I needed a refill. (I ordered an RX online several months ago.. I have a script for it, but not from Medical Network!)  Anyway, I tell her that I do not want a refill from them because the last rx I got from an on-line pharmacy came from some third world country and the manufacturer of the drug was a company I had never heard of!  I told her I did not even think the rx I ordered was actually the medicine I take.  I told her I tried to look up the "supposed" drug company that my rx came from and I could not find any information about it and it was a total waste of money.  Linda then goes on to tell me that drugs are no longer “allowed” to be shipped from outside of the US. And their pharmacy is in Florida.  She said she worked for Medical Network and it is a company that a group of physicians, pharmacists and other healthcare providers contract out their patients that need prescriptions.  I told her that that was illegal because of Hipaa Laws.  I then asked her which one of my doctors, supposedly, gave Medical Network my name?  Linda said, "Like I told you we are Medical Network and we contract with a large group of physicians and hospitals, etc. to have patient’s prescriptions filled."  I then told her again that that practice is illegal and I did not sign anything with any doctor or hospital to give anyone my name or health information.  She then went on to say that they didn’t “buy” my information or anything like that!  She said we are a network that contracts with healthcare providers.  I told her that was still illegal.  I then asked her what drug manufacturer they use for my particular medicine.  She put me on hold and asked her supervisor.  She then came back to the phone and told me that she was sorry but the pharmacy was closed today and she could not get that information.  I then asked her what the name of the pharmacy was again.  She said, "Central Express” out of Florida.  I asked Linda for the pharmacy’s direct phone number.  She then asked, “You want to call our pharmacy?”  I said, “Yes.”  She then told me she could call me back later with the information that I needed.  I asked her if "Medical Network" had a web-site.  She said no.  I then told her that I am not interested in ordering any medications from them.  She then thanked me and hung up.  I am sure I will be hearing from them again!

I got a call from a Linda as well and all she did was tell me to call her back and ask for her. I also ordered a medicine online a few months ago and when I received it I didn't like the way came either. It didn't even seem to be the medication I ordered and came in two zip lock type bags I didn't even take it because of the way it looked. I will call them back and tell them not to contact me again and see how that works it doesn't usually! I hate it when people sell my information to the annoying telemarketers.

I just had this same call come through from Linda at 954-323-4434, however, I have not ordered any medication online. This is definately a scam!

Someone by the name of Linda called and then someone by the name of Maria called wanting to confirm my rx order. A scam artist no doubt.

Got the same number calling me now!
