2 calls to my phone, back to back, no message left.  Caller unknown.

Unemployment office for FL is the source of this number.

I can confirm it is unemployment. I don't know if it's anyone's direct number, but the person who I talked to was a total jerk.

The person I spoke with from this number is named Evelyn. She called me because I missed one of five weeks when I claimed. She was nice, but tried to rush me while I was going back to look at my notes. I asked her if she wanted the right info.

Just answer the call because you could have missed weeks of pay and may have not have even known.

Unemployment Compensation Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA

Person who called from 951-625-3009 was from the Florida State Unemployment office.  She was not nice. She was rude and arrogant. She was very smart-alecky, and pushed my buttons.

She concluded without speaking to me, but at me that I had not read the unemployment screens when I signed up for unemployment.  She stated, ‘This is the only reason I was having a hard time filing a claim.’  She also said that I should not be calling to confirm what is now in the system.  However, the person at the local office said to keep calling-be persistent is the wording he used, or you will never get paid.

To me it sounded like she was a case worker who had been told to check up on me because I had not filed a claim, but had signed up for unemployment.

Sometimes I think these employees of the state are hidden behind the telephone lines, and because of this they fill protected and can be sassy with the person they are on the phone with—the person that they should be helping.

So at this point, I still am not completely signed up correctly, but I wish everyone else good luck on using the system—more importantly though good luck with the system, so you can turn your time into looking for your next job and not on the phone.

Received a call today and it is Florida Unemployment office.  The woman was professional and asked me 11 questions regarding my ability to look for work.

This is unemployment number but when you call them back they have no idea who tried to call you.

I got a call today and no message left.  When I called back it was the Florida Economic Opportunity and they do not accept incoming calls....

Received a phone call regarding unemployment weeks. Something about 30 days. Had the female repeat herself since I couldn't understand her speaking language. I asked her if I could speak with someone else that I could understand. She said no and hung up.

Evidently, information needed to be passed along was not very important or not important for her to do her job (a government one). Over an hour later and no phone call back. Interesting to see what was put in her documented reports on the call.

Received a phone call from this number today, the woman on the other end asked to speak with me. Being skeptical of random unknown calls I asked whom I was speaking with and what the call was in regards to. I was told that she would not give out that information and that she was returning my phone call so i should know what she was calling about and to call her back when I figured it out.  If this is the state unemployment office they need to put a few of their own employees in line to start collecting unemployment compensation..
