    Auto Warranty scam
    A computer called me (caller ID: +50622572191 - doesn't matter which number the computer used - when you call back the number is "no longer in service"). The recoding said my 'car's warranty was about to expire'. Obviously a scam.
    I tried to find out more, so pressed 1 to to let the computer connect me to a live person. I started a conversation, pretended to be interested in their warranty (for my "1998 Honda" which had 123,000 miles on it!).
    I gave them my phone number and simply hung up during the conversation - in the middle of the guy talking.
    Sure enough he called me back - this time the caller ID was 954-745-0790.
    The moment I told him that Transamerican Warranty sounds like a scam he hung up (he hung up so fast I couldn't even finish the sentence)
