They call and ask about your electrical bill and if it's over 100 they say they have grants for FPL increases. Think it's a scam.  I tried calling number back and it goes to a busy signal.  Don't waste your time.  They want to make appointment with you so you can save money.  NO COST to you.  What Bull!!!

Just got one also, could get a straight answer as to who they were, kept repeating Electrical Awareness something or other...

They use more than one # -- one looks like a residential one but can't be tracked, the other reads "FLORIDA" on the caller ID screen.  Same routine -- want to do an "energy survey" of your home.  "Just say NO" as Nancy Reagan used to say!

Called here this morning with the same spiel about FPL raising electric bills 30%. I told the young man my house was under renovation.  He replied FPL would pay for that too. Lol!  What a scam!!  Blocked the number

Have received multiple calls on this FPL scam.

I suppose I was a little stand off ish (ha!), when she started her "pitch"

Here was her comment
"Well, if you are going to be a [***]  about it...."
and then hung up.

Quite professional, dont you think!
I tried to call the number back, but rang busy and then dead.
(It's a land line from downtown Fort Lauderdale)

Stated the wanted to serve me for wage garnishment.

Were you in court??  Did you see  judge??  NO, you say - that is how garnishment works - NOT because a CROOK and LIAR calls.  BLOCK them!
