I am Weendy and I never called the. .She claimed to be from Bank of America card service...BEWARE DON'T GIVE ANY INFORMATION! !!
- Caller: Fake bank
- Chuey de a puenteI missed the call, I returned the call and its a disconnected Number?? How is that..
- Jennifer| 1 replyIt's bank of americas fraud department. If you made any disputes they are probably just returning your call or have a question. It's a legitimate number. I talked to them about an issue and it was going to take them about an hour to resolve so they offered a call back. It was the same agent I have talked to earlier and it came from this number.
- Caller: Bank of America
- D replies to JenniferYes, same here.
- TrishI just called the number and it said no routes found then rang again and said invalid number.
- CHLooks like a scam. Claiming to be Bank of America's debit card department. They said my debit card was past due and they were collecting money on it. Makes no sense because a debit card, by definition, takes money out of your account immediately.

- TAECalling my place of business about an order we had on hold for potential fraud. Told us to go ahead and process the order and it would go through this time. First they sent a chat. Advised to call. I told them I found it out they were in DE. and had a TX phone number. Also, odd that we were contacted via chat. I told her I called BOA to verify she worked there and they could not. Advised we would call customer and once that occurred we would decide if we would process the order. Lame and got nervous when I started asking questions.
- Caller: BOA
- AZILOworking the switchboard, I received a call from this number which displayed as RICHARDSON CC H. I did not answer because the ID (RICHARDSON CC H) has called before and they end up hanging up/disconnecting. But it is interesting that about a minute after the first call, I received back to back calls from 214 459 2619 ID as Dallas TX. i have received many calls from the 214 number before sometimes hang ups, sometimes a message is left. Today a message was left by a woman claiming to be from Bank of America saying an email was sent regarding a preferred way of paying invoices. Knowing the drill, I forwarded to the Business Manager. i recall a message left in the past from “Bank of America “and they were calling to verify an employment. OK? But after many “employment verification” calls and many forward to the Manager, I asked what employee they were trying to verify which they gave me the name and why (home loan). I found it strange they gave me all that info. I did not yay or nay the name but forwarded the call to the BM...again. I saw the employee a week later, I informed them of the calls, they had been living in their home for at least 2 months and they immediately called to freeze any credit activity without their approval.
Today I called both numbers out of curiosity and NOTHING happens, no ring, no recording, no disconnection...ANYTHING. I find it interesting that Jennifer says it is legit and it is Bank of America's fraud department number. If they are “Bank of America “, why ID as RICHARDSON CC H and DALLAS, TX and why the non-working line.
Let's get real here. If you are a “legit” business, you are not going to hide or make it difficult for clients/customers to reach you.- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Tina Freeman| 1 replyI am an employee of Ttec (formerly known as TeleTech, NASDAQ: TTEC). I am a call center agent for one of their clients, Bank of America Prepaid. Although the calls I receive are from numerous unique customers per day, many of the calls that come through come from this phone number, (972) 232-1313 (CC H Richardson). This phone number is a Verizon Business landline phone number with a Dallas, TX NPA/area code, issued by Mcimetro Access Transmission Services Llc.
So it seems somehow that this phone number is connected to a person who is forwarding calls. I am an employee and am receiving calls with this phone number on the Caller ID (Avaya), and if non employees or general consumers are receiving calls and text messages from this phone number, I am assuming that the phone number is like a concierge, for lack of a better word.
I am looking for ways to find out who is behind this phone number and report them for harassment.- Caller: CC H Richardson

- Accounting DeptWe received a voicemail from this number (RICHARDSON CC H (972) 232-1313) claiming to be a person calling from Bank of America's fraud department to verify a check which came from our business. The number they gave to call back was 1-800-797-7675 and they gave a reference number. Do not answer this call or call the 1-800-797-7675 number. This is NOT Bank of America, it is a scam. The check they were calling about was deposited by the intended recipient a month prior and the fake BOA caller claimed it was presented for deposit at their bank and that we would be able to see an image of the check through our bank. Our business has fraud protection/positive pay in place with our bank which flags stuff like this and the supposed second check deposit never showed up. HOWEVER, the recipient of the original check called us 2 days later and said that their bank contacted them about the check being deposited twice and removed the money from their account. Our bank looked into this situation and found only one record of the check being deposited, which was by the original recipient, and no deposits of this amount were made back into our account. Thankfully, the recipient's bank returned the money to their account the next day. If you receive a call from this number, email abuse@bankofamerica.com with the details.
