    This number called saying they were from US Treasury and were coming in 30 min to take me to jail for 6 months for failing to pay my federal taxes. My taxes are paid - this is some sort of scam. Not sure what they were wanting but it was scary! Shame on them!!!

    Thursday 28 April 2016 -- 10:19 am -- Caller ID said "Dallas Tx".  No message was left.  Google search reveals this is a scam that threatens legal action for back taxes.

    Left message by a Heavily accented male calling himself Jason brown stating this is a second attempt to warn me about imminent arrest by Federal law enforcement for a criminal offense. Threatened dire consequences if I ignore. Then wished me a good day, said goodbye. This is the second message I gotten regarding this scam. The last one, a couple of months ago, was a computer generated voice message and the number was out of Washington, D.C. But the threats were the same vague crap. Blocked both numbers

    I was blown away I almost believed them for a second until I looked up the phone number on my work phone and saw all you people saying it was a scam so then I told the guy he was a piece of [***] and you can [***] off! thank you everyone for posting this, you just save me a huge headache

    Really, an automated voice that sounds like a kids toy from the 70's telling you you in deep doggy doo doo because you cheated on your taxes is  believable ?
    The call is total BULSHIT!!!!!   The area code is in Texas somewhere. The IRS never calls..... Never...... Report  this to the proper authorities, Please...... [***] like this deserve to spend a few years in the Federal Pen for such unethical scare tactics.

    That's the whole idea. Scare Tactics........  This particular scam has been going on now for quite awhile and several others I know have been hit with this as well. Report them.....  To local and federal officials

    I got this same call but it sounded like Jason said he was from the National Department of Immigration??? Not positive on the last word due to his heavy accent. Yea he wished me a good day as well.
