Received a call from this number and noticed that it wasn't a NJ area code, so I was hesitant to answer. I answered and with a firm voice he asked for the head of the household, told him he was not available. He tried hanging up and I asked him who he was and gave me a very common name saying he was with the New Jersey State Trooper Association. Knew he was BSing me and refused to leave a message, and hung up in my face.

They keep calling and the caller ID says I.  They never leave a message and we never answer the phone for this number.  They call every day all different times of the day and night.  Doesn't matter who they are or what they want as they are not going to get anything out of us.  I truly don't understand why you register your number with the Do Not call registry and still receive calls from such unsolicited people or associations.  This is truly not right.  Another thing I would like to add is when you have a private number and pay for it, they still have access to it, yet you cannot find out who these people are.  How in the world is that fair or right?  These people should be held accountable for their actions and all the others who do the same thing.  That is my opinion though.  

I just got the umpteenth call from this number, too. I'm goint to file a complaint with the FTC.

Hang up on u when u say to leave u alone

Caller ID just shows "I", but a local number, so I answered, even tho it was before 8:30 am!  I have an elderly parent who has been in the hospital, so....

A male voice asked for my spouse by 1st name, as if he knew him.  I asked who it was calling & he launched into what sounded like a recording.  He is calling on behalf on the TX State Trooper Asso.... SURE!  Told him to remove us from his list.

This is a scammer, so BEWARE!

I got called today with the same number they said they were for a sweepstakes that I won 1 million dollars.

Just got the same call. I did not answer and a voicemail saying " hello....is Daniel there" was left. Wish I could find these mother @#$%! And kick their @#$%!

Keep getting calls from this number it shows up in caller ID as "I" . This morning a man with a southern accent left a message saying "is the man or woman of this house available" and hung up.

They need to stop calling my house late at night.

Just rec'd a call from "Jones", said he was calling on behalf of police. Not recognizing the number, I said "go to hell", and hung up.  Do Not Call list is evidently not worth a damn !

972-497-2629 just called me.  I answered and a guy on other end claimed to be affiliated with the Texas State Trooper Association. asking for a donation of $25.00, for me is totally fraud call, SCAM

Keep getting calls from this Dallas number. However, I blocked them long ago, so I don't even know they called until I look at my Call Blocker. I have found Call Blocking works two ways. First - you never hear the call but either it's a RoboCall or they are just stubborn criminals (as most are) who think you will eventually answer. It takes a few months but I have found they all give up eventually. Unfortunately, a new batch comes along to be blocked. About every six months I have to empty my call blocker which holds 80 numbers. Yes, there are that many scams going on out there. Hold the Fort folks. Keep blocking until they're actually losing money by making these unanswered calls. There's more of "us" than of "them."

Caller calls repeatedly. Asking for me by my first name. Never leaves a message . Irritating.

Same as others.  Calls, answering machine answers and they ask for husband by first name.  Never leave a message.  If they do say they are state troopers, I is definitely a scam.  Our news once checked it out and said no police organization calls asking for money.

Obviously a scam  I don't live anywhere near Texas.  Why would Texas State Troopers call out of state people looking for donations.  I do not answer calls I don't recognize.  They can call till the world ends.  I am not answering.

Don't call here again

Same as most other folks.  Voice asks for the name listed in the phone book, then hangs up.  Definitely a scam.  Caller I.D. just says "I."  That alone is enough to tell you it's a scam.

First I get a call from a NY number then this number about 5 minutes later.  I am not answering any of these calls.  They never leave messages.  Can't be too important.  Obviously a scam

Have had several calls from this number. CID shows only the letter I. Glad to know they are fundraisers. This bunch has a bad habit of calling late at night.

This number has been calling me every day for 3 weeks now.  No message.
