Someone called from this number, asking for the President of my company by name. Said he was calling from Beth Handy's office. No one in my office knows who Beth Handy is, but the people calling (we've received these calls in the past) insist that it's about a meeting of which the President is aware. They refuse to leave messages with me. Today, "Herman" told me he wasn't aware that anyone from Beth Handy's office had called recently (someone called last week), said he would have to look into it and call back.

Just called, said he was from Chris (inaudible)'s office.  Asked for owner by name.  I asked him what it was in reference to, and he said he was refered to my company.  I asked again what it was in reference to, and was again given a BS answer.  Sent him to voice mail.  He promptly hung up.

Yea, these guys call here almost every day now. Same BS as noted here.

Several calls a week from this number  (SMS) - Continue to ask for the President of company.  Told them he was not available, then they asked for voice mail.  When I asked whats it was in regards to, they say a meeting and that the President is quite aware of it.  Told them not good enough and needed more information.  They said they would leave that info in his voicemail.  Still insisted not enough information to transfer call.  They hung up.  Knew they would.

I got calls from Peter Unger saying he was from GPS and the caller ID says SMS. He refuses to leave a voice mail even though I told him the owner (whose name he had) didn't know who he was and would like him to leave a message.  After reading these posts, i will let him know these are out there and we do not want him calling anymore.
i wonder what service they are selling?
