978-631-0911

Just got a call/msg from this number.  BECU:  Call.   (theoretically the front four letters stand for Boeing Employee Credit Union.)  There is a another number associated with the msg.  243 317 0304.  This number is not a valid U.S. telephone number.  The 978 631 0911 comes back to somewhere in Mass.  This is clearly some sort of scam.  I think I got zinged once before with the 978 exchange and the call goes to the Caribbean somewhere like the Dominican Republic.  Calling the number back usually generates a very high call rate.  The more calls, the more money they make and you are billed.  Same time of day for the call (between 0800 and 0900 hours) on PDT.  Note: if BECU was going to call me, it would have been a (800) type of number and a local number that would come back to them.

I just received a very similar message to Jim's. Mine came from 243-317-0311 but had a similar (BECU: Call 978 631 0911). It does appear to be some sort of scam.

Got this message: (Attention Request: B.O.A. Call: 978.631.0911) from number listed as 943-319-0304.

I didn't call/message back. Also suspect it's some type of scam.

Just received text "Notice W.F.B Call ...." with this same #. Suspect this is a scam.

I got a text message 50 minutes ago.  (W.F.B Notice Call: 98-78.631.0911)  Was driving so I couldn't check it.  When I got back to work I looked at the message.  Don't know who or what this is and my number is on the Do Not Call registry.

Got a text message from (71333400113@mail.sutleywertzer.com) message (Alert from W.F.B Call: 978.631.0911)  When I called the number from another number other than my cell, it was a recording saying "To reactivate your card, press 1)  This is a scam!!!

Scam. Beware of number 256-455-0843 as well. If you don't answer, they send you  text. Do not reply.
