THEY CALLED 8AM AND WHEN ASKED IF THEY COULD CALL LATER THEY BECAME PUSHY AND RUDE AND IM NOT THE PERSON THAT OWES ANYTHING, THEY EVEN INSULTED MY MILITARY STATUS AND THE PRESIDENT. BOTTOM LINE THEY ARE SCUM, and somebody should close them down.

They called saying they have a summons on hold and they would like to resolve the issue first. If you are from a law firm, collection employees would not be chatting in the background...also, for verification purposes you put your boss on the phone, not a lawyer, not a paralegal but your regular supervisor. Yeah pull one over on someone whom never worked for a legal company next time.

I am an attorney in good standing in three states, although Florida is not one if them,  I just got a message from this "firm" claiming that there is a summons & complaint at the Pinellas County Sheriff's office with my name on it.  I have no ides who these people are I am not in ANY debt and I have not been to Florida in 10 years.  I am planning on reporting them to the sheriff.

DO NOT TALK TO THEM OR GIVE THEM ANYTHING!!!! I was contacted by this firm.  They refused to give me any written documentation on the debt they said they were collecting on.  I didn't' know the company said I owed money to.  I still don't know what they are collecting on.  
They kept threatening to swear out a warrant for my arrest.  Then they put their attorney on the phone and he threatened me unless I gave them something today and made arrangements for the balance they would have me arrested.  I don't even know if he was an attorney!  I was scared and gave them a "good faith payment".  Then I requested documents about this debt.  The attorney refused!  I have reported them to my states dept of finance and attorney general and will be reporting them to the AG in FL and MA..  What they are doing is criminal and civil and they can be sued for failure to comply with the fair debt collecting laws.

I just got a call from them saying I owe for a Cash Net account.   I don't owe crap and I told him that.   Then I hung up.

i just received a call from this so called firm. when the said that i could only pay by check or depit card i replied that i would need to talk to my attny.because i had never heard of anyone not accepting a bank money order. at that time they put their supervisor on and he gave me all of the info so that i could send a western union.  i am very worried about sending this .do you think this is a scam.

Just got a fax sent to my job for my supervisor to fill out!!  She gave it to me. They put on the fax that I needed to call them ASAP!  When I did, no answer. Tried back again, some guy answered and said he was giving me the lawyer voice mail. Leave a message and they will call me back  he said.  What kind of mess is this!  I kindly faxed back their info (BLANK), and told them to send all correspondence of said debt in writing to my home! I have yet to get a call back!

I received a call from these people 2010 got my lawyer involved we paid of the debt for Payday Yes and they are now trying to collect again but using a different company telling me that I will be arrested and thrown in jail.  Sad thing is I have proof that it was paid and now they are quite upset knowing they can't get anything else from me. Says he is a processor and when you call back and explain to them this has been paid they get nasty and when I told them not to call me again because I was getting my lawyer involved they said we will just have you arrested.

If legal in your State (1 party consent Vs. 2 party consent) record your phone calls - and TELL them you are recording their phone calls. Watch what happens next, because everything they are doing is illegal. The only problem you have is if they are foreign criminal extortionists calling. Then you can't do much, except block the calls.

It is only necessary to tell them that you are recording them in a 2 party state, since you (1 party) would know about it.  In any case, here is some more information on this criminal activity.  If this person is representing himself as an attorney, please report it immediately to the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers of the Supreme Judicial Court as he was disbarred in 2012:
