It's Verizon wireless payment center. I do not even have Verizon and it called me. I returned call from a landline.

Received a call from this number (980-215-4475) on Friday December 12, 2014 at 4:27 PM EST.  I hung up on them as I do any number I don't know, especially if it starts with 980 or any other 9** number. I don't have Verizon and don't want Verizon!

Won a free cruise to Bahamas for answering some political questions...supposedly

They have called 3 times and left no information. Very fishy.

Just called me saying I'd won 2 Free tickets for a Cruise to the Bahamas and that I just need to answer some survey questions and be awarded the tickets at the end. I hung up.

Rang, but no message. Followed by known scam number 1-703-272-4699 not more than 5 minutes later. Second number also rang, but no message.

Called my Verizon cell phone in eastern NC.  I didn't answer.

Called me just now and when I answered, there was just silence. Then they hung up on me.

They called, I sent them to voice mail, they left no message. Judging by the other reports here, it sounds like a scam. The fact that it said "North Carolina" but had an area code that doesn't match caused me to not answer. I am going to block the number.
