    Carla Brown called from this number threatening me with immediate arrest. This number is attached to an 888 number. Clearly a scam. I called it back and no answer- no voice mail. She said she worked for NC as a process server so I asked why she was calling me at 6pm from a cell phone number.

    A real process serve will not warn you.  You will NOT be arrested (even if you owe my).  That is an ILLEGAL threat !!

    Phone calls are NOT considered to be official notification per the FDCPA.

    This number called my nieces number which i do not know nor give to anyone.  This scam has hacked my phone contacts.  I answered the phone they hung up on me and would not talk.  I am guessing by answering they get connected to get information.  I do not know who to report this to for investigation?  Anyone know?
