robo call and spoofed number with a recorded message that said something to the effect of "if you suffer from joint pain or have arthritis press 1, or 9 to opt out."
Research shows this is not a valid number. Just another scam.

Received a call from this number with no caller ID name display.  Blocked.

Caller ID showed Out Of Area.  Continuous message about "Don't hang up.  If you suffer from arthritis or joint paint and are over the age of 65 press 1 now, to opt out please press 9"  That message repeated numerous times.

Left no message, so now they get blocked!

I wonder how they get lists of phone numbers of senior citizens.  Called here at 1:53pm and Caller ID showed "Amite LA".  Amite is a small town and I don't know anyone there so I didn't answer and they left no message.  It should be even more illegal to call seniors like this and penalties should be more severe.

What makes you think they only call seniors?  Many, many people have received this call that are half the age of a senior.

I did not answer. Redialed number and got: the number you have dialed in not in service. Obviously a spoofed number. A scam.

Caller ID says Louisiana Call. Blocked. I don't know anyone from there.

This number called today. ID Amite, LA. No message. Don't know anyone from Amite Louisiana. If it calls back will block.

Medical scam targeting seniors with "joint pain or arthritis".

I'm sorry I missed this one.  It called my land line and left no msg.  But when I called it back from my cell phone, I reached a disconnect recording.  Do NOT waste your time on this number and block it if you can!

Q: See a number you don’t recognize?  A: don’t answer it. Don’t pick up, don’t push option numbers if you do, don’t try to return the call

Caller ID read Amite, LA at 9:18 am Eastern Daylight Time. Did not answer. No message left.

Called on 7/13; blocked it thanks to 800 Notes info.  Called again today; ONE RING and stopped.  HA!  Gotcha, Scammers!
