Called no message

Yea some body had call me from that number name Kevin wolf and said I can receive 7000$ from the government I don't think it's legit he ask me to get a money pack an put 220$ it on their so I can but it don't seem legit its more like bs

I was told I had won A $7000.00 grant from the government and I had to go to walgreens and purchase A green dot money pak and load $220.00 dollars on it to activate the free $7000.00 government money that I won.

Things to believe:

• There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
• If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, or a grant from a gracious government   <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
• The tooth fairy really does not exist
• Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
• It is illegal to pay money for a loan or prize, BEFORE getting the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you "green dot" or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Greeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse.

Missed the call. Returned the call & no answer. Booo i thought maybe somebody wanted to talk to me about grocery store coupons and full moon rituals. Dang. Now who will give me $ to listen to my jibber jabber.

got this phone call for about the third time
Previously had just hung up
This time I played along for awhile and then just quit talking and let them continue to talk
Must have kept them on line for a couple of minutes until they got exasperated and hung up
I liked jacking them around
I hope I can waste more of their time next time they call

Scam do not send money

This number called me a lady on the other end she told me that I got a government grant free for $7000.00 dollars for not having a criminal record, pay my bills on time, in my taxes on time and for me to call this number 240 - 232 - 2251 and ask for Margaret, and give her to alphabetic letters and three numbers and they will send it Western Union its a scam I know it is in the company is called I don't know if its a company but when I look the number up its from Aspen Hill, Bethesda Fredrick, and I want to know if this is scam I want people to know this is a scam you just dont get money cuz you have no criminal history you pay your bills and taxes on time we're not that stupid.

if you get a call from these either one of these numbers 240 - 232 - 2251 and that woman to tell you to call Margaret and she will give you two letters it usually is your name being in your name or other letters of the alphabet and then she'll give you three numbers should tell you to call that number and the number should be calling you from is usually 202 - 243 - 0000 she tell you the reason she's calling because you won money you got a grant loan of 7000 or 10,000 and to call this lady and she asked you if you want it put in your bank if you want it on a credit card or Western Union and I told her Well is this a call to end where you're going to say oh well I owe you money for this amount of money to come to me because of the grant and she said no but if you call the number with the marget lady the scum scamer at you aren't going to get no answer at all it's a scam don't fall prey to it

This is the number I was supposed to call and give a scamer named Margaret letters from the alphabet, and three numbers, and I never got that far but when I did call that number last night they were available I called the day and they were available but I look the number up and is from Aspen Hills Bethesda Frederick it's a scam don't fall for it do they offer you money that he's getting the grant cuz you weren't a felon you paid your bills on time and taxes it's a scam the scumbags

Received a call from this numbwr also. From DC.

Received call from this # and said I won a $7000 grant.  When I told her I work for the Federal Gov and I know how they work she hung up on me.

I got a call from 202-243-0000 saying that because I dont have a criminal record and pay my bills on time I qualify for a grant. I have been getting a lot of scammer calls since before Christmas and I've been getting better dealing with them. First off I could barely understand her because of the thick accent and I could tell she was reading from a script. I didn't even let her finish her spiel and told her that I didn't want the grant. She made me repeat it 3 times then laughed. She apologized for bothering me, and I hung up. If it's too good to be true It probably is!

I just received a call from this number. I immediately told him to take me off of his list and not to call me, and he responded with, "[***] you. [***] you." He hung up and for some /mysterious reason/, won't answer when I call back.

I know it's not the wisest decision, but after the month I've had, I was really not in the mood to let "Vincent" get away with this, so I called him back a few more times. The number has been disconnected.

Man with a think Indian accent said he was calling from the United States Treasury Dept. He said I qualified for a $7k grant and would not have to pay the money back. He asked if I wanted to know why I was chosen. I told him to go ahead and suddenly he hung up. Wanted to tell him I'm on the DNC list and remove my number, but he hung up on me. Would've been nice if he could've pronounced my name correctly! Lol! I plan on reporting this number to the DNC registry & seeing if they will get involved and fine this company!

An Indian Voice..Said I won $7000 from the U S Govt..Then he explained it could only be used towards medical, school or new business ..could NOT be used to gamble...then he actually asked for my name..I said first...you are Indian. This U S Govt will NEVER give away nothing tax free..hung up on him...the phone # is disconnected..so it is a transmitted call from overseas
