Ally Financial

Difficult to understand caller.  Elusive to specify or give information about the company she represented.  I had to force the question if she represented a collection agency, replied it was a financial company. Then she hung up after I stated I had no documentation from her company.

Caller is impersonating a debt collection company, strongly suspect this is a scam or fraud call since we have no delinquent debt.

Did not answer as I don't answer unsolicited calls.

Caller asked about a person who does not live here.

this person is hard to understand, however she is asking for my name then switch it up to another name.
I have no debt that is unpaid...I'm sure this is a scam to get infomation

Asks for a variety of names,  then I tell her she won't get into of who I am,  lose my number.  Then click

Toll free call from this number asking for my son who doesn't live here or have this number...asked who is calling...played along with her....said this number was given for a reference for another person whom she named.  Told her do not know this person....since she couldn't get any info from me she hung up.

I never answer unrecognized numbers, but caller left msg saying it was from Allied Finance and that it was important to call back.  It’s just spam to get information.  We’ve never had any business with that company.  Spam, do not answer!

Called back the number after the voice mail and it was only asking for an account number or last four of social. The voice mail was of a lady with a thick asian accent claiming she is a rep of Allied Financial, which I never dealt with.

the person who left a message for my husband.  could  not understand  her. very bad English. called from this number and also 855-306-6939.  this person called three times in a span less than five minutes. all from different numbers.  the other number they used was 608-371-6666. beware of these numbers and do not respond to their scam.

Calls repeatedly asking for an employee. Hard to understand. Will not answer this call.

I got voice mail from a different number asking me to call this number, could barely understand it. After reading the messages here, I called them to see what's up.  First question, what's my SSN? Yeah no. "Here's the phone number you called. Why did you call?" She couldn't find my number. She said they were looking for a relative or someone else I might know. I asked who. She didn't have that information, that's handled by another team. Okay, so transfer me to that team. She doesn't have that ability. Okay, how do I contact that team? She doesn't have contact info. Okay, so why did you call? She said she would remove my number from the automatic dialing system. Now how does she plan to do that if she can't find my number in the first place?

Scam? *shrug* maybe.

I had the same thing. They mentioned my name then asked me to forward the message to someone who doesn't live here. Seems to be a scam.

Women called my elderly neighbor.  Ask my neighbor to give me a msg and call 855-306-6939.  My neighbor waited for me to come home from work, came over gave me this phone number, have me call and ask for Angelica.  I thought something was wrong, so I call and was ask for my SSI number (not). And then the person on the other line  ask me for Angelica account no.  That's when I hung up and explain to my elderly neighbor we've been had!

Call from various numbers leaving message asking for a nephew who has never lived here to return the call at "855-306-6939". "Richard Manwell" is the caller... Suspect lure similar to other reported attempts. I have phone on "do not disturb" 24/7 so they call leave all the messages they want...

Typically I don't answer calls from unknown numbers, but I was expecting a service visit and thought it might be them. They asked if I was related to my sister, and when I asked why they wouldn't give me additional information. They wanted me to let her know to call them and that "she knows what it's about." He was about to hang up and I was like, "So do you want to give me the callback number?" Which was the 855-306-6939 number. When I called back, you're immediately prompted to enter your Social Security number. Scam!
