- Alicejust got a call from 855-505-4363.
woman stated she is calling from Credit Management Company which is in PA.
she wanted me to verify my address and DOB and then she would tell me why she is calling...
told her she is nuts and that I have no proof of who is calling me and will not give out any info.
Also, # on Caller ID was 000
She then wished me a nice day and I told her "you too"- Caller: Credit Management Company
- Eula| 3 repliesjust got a call from 855-505-4363. woman stated she is calling from Credit Management Company, then goes through a shotty job of the HIPPA laws that collectors has to say. It didn't even make sense. she wanted me to verify my address and DOB and then she would tell me why she is calling. Stating she is bound by HIPPA Laws. She would not provide a company that she was suppose to be collecting for nor a reference number. Kept say she was bound by HIPPA Laws. Total Scam. I told her put it in a letter and send it to me then.. She claim she did that in 2014. I don't owe anyone anything. So she is out of her mind. Doesn't HIPPA require them to tell you what company she is call about? I don't give out information to strangers, and I f you have my information send it in the mail. Also, she called from 000
- Caller: CMC

- JaneI keep receiving calls from 855 505 4363 same message as above. I called and woman asked me for my DOB and my address.
I asked her to mail all information to my home address. Same as all above. They keep calling me once every month. the phone call comes from 000. - MimiI keep getting calls from this lady, from Credit Management Company stating I need to give her my DOB and address so that she can tell me why she is calling. I gave her nothing and told her to send it in the mail. The bills I have are normal everyday bills and I don't OWE any others that are not related to my home, I guess they thin I'm senile and will give up my information so easily. DO NOT GIVE out you info. I use to work for a medical billing service and we HAD to give them our badge#, name, ref# and anything that would help the client so they could either pay their bill or dispute. SCAM SCAM SCAM. . . don't do it phone # 505 000 was on my cellphone, any bills I have all have my landline# not my cellphone#.
- Caller: from Credit Management Company
- Call type: Debt collector
- MaryFor the last few month, the same lady calls me once a week (or so) from 000 and asks for my DOB and address. She only says this is a credit management company and the call is from a debt collector...I refused to give her any info without further information about what exactly this call is about. And she gives me no information!
Any recommendation on how to proceed? - Mrs DoubtfireI keep getting these stupid robocalls from some lady claiming to be a debt collector. Yeah right. When I lived on the coasts, we never received anywhere near the number of scam calls that we receive here in the upper Midwest. It's just nuts! Like the others said, she wants address and dob and other identifying information. Mail it to me. Even then I will contact the company using the public numbers on their website.

- Annoyed| 1 replyJust got a call. Lady stated she needed me to verify my identity and address. Don't think so. Scammers. She stated a letter was mailed to me but couldn't tell me when. Also stated she could not tell me what the call was about in order to not get fired from her job.
- BigA replies to Eula| 1 replyToo clarify this post for future readers. HIPPA has nothing to do with debt collection. It has to do with your personal medical information such as diagnosis and treatment. FDCPA and State laws govern debt collection.
- BigA replies to AnnoyedWell if a letter was mailed (and it now has to be postmarked within 5 days of your conversation), then you should wait for it and then immediately send them a debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.
- CoomerReceived a call the same as everyone else. Won’t provide any into unless we provide personal info. She was hateful too. Said we need to read the letter they sent. No letter. Don’t give info.
