Caller said it was a CPAP Compliance # and referred to Medicare to see if compliance was being met for the medicare equipment.  I do not feel this call was legit.  Anyone else get this?

I got a call while at work and it's possible. I have a cpap breathing machine so they were probably calling to see if I needed any replacements. This helps though, now I know to call them back.

Didn’t answer a call from a totally different number. A minute later I get a text which I didn’t open. Don’t use a cpap. I think this is a total scam. Medicare doesn’t contact in this fashion.

Said they were Lincare and needed further insurance information to continue coverage for my CPac equipment. I did call the number. It was obviously an overseas call center and the operator barely spoke English. I disconnected immediately.

I didn't check the number like I usually do and called. I asked if this letter meant I was to verify with my doctor the usage since I didn't need anything else.  They told me to contact my local office to find out.  Like a ninny, I gave my birthdate .  Hope nothing goes any further.  I called the local office and I am not on their records...but I didn't come to Pueblo until 2023 and I didn't I transferred my account.  Anyway, feel stupid.

Called number back, explain msg was left with just hours to call.  Asked who they were and they hung up on me.  Obviously a scam call.  I blocked their number.

Received a voicemail that said they were Lincare and needed additional information for insurance to continuing paying.  Checked number and apparently a scam.

Caller from 855-824-8498 called and said they were from Lincare. They wanted credit card information. Said it was urgent.  The call came thru on my phone as "blocked - High Risk", so I didn't answer it.

I have received numerous calls from 855-824-8498. I always let it go to voicemail. They claim to be from Lincare, and want additional information for my account. The first call came on a Saturday, but said they are only open Monday through Friday. That was the first red flag!
Always check with your LOCAL office, and never provide personal information when you don’t know who is calling! My local office is looking into this, as others have received the same type of call.

I received a letter in the mail supposedly from Lincare. As a company, Lincare does exist however, the number is not showing up on Google search, and the letter is vague about what I was supplied with. So far the 8558248498 number as noted seems to be a scam.

Received a letter from SLEEPCAIR made out to valued customer with a contact number 855 824 8498. I Google the phone number and I'm glad I did. The return address is 19387 US Hwy 19 N floor2B Support Team Clearwater, FL 33764 .I didn't call them.

Keep getting voicemails from this number saying that they need additional information regarding my insurance to continue getting CPAP supplies.  Haven't called back, but was on the phone with Lincare billing yesterday for a different matter and nothing was said about them needing updated insurance information.  I have blocked the number.

Received letter addressed to Valued customer.  Said they were from Preferred home care.  Needed info on my bipap usage.  Feeling very unsure about this being fraud.

Such calls may be telemarketing ploys to get you to purchase supplies for durable medical goods from their company.  However, they can also be scam attempts to get your medical insurance or personal financial information.  Either way, do not respond and block the number.  Use a trusted pharmacy (brick and mortor or online) to purchase your supplies.  Your insurance company may make recommendations or may supply these as part of your policy.
