Depends on the interest rate. If your student loan has a 10% interest rate and credit card has a 20% interest rate, then paying out the credit card balance makes more financial sense.

they have a way for you to signal them to trace a call - each carrier is different. So only YOUR phone company can tell what works for their systems. Bet if you looked in the phone book OR their website- you would find it as well.

I just ignore calls that dosen't display the caller identity,just a waste of time. When someone hides their phone numbers, they have something to hide. You can still file a complaint for debt collector's harassment, if you are not on the national donot call list
