Do you mean to tell us that you emailed some random email given to you by some random scammer on Facebook?  I guess you are looking to get your email address signed up for more spam and scams.

Yeah, there is NO winner, because there is NO lottery!  Also, it's the "United States of America" not "United State of America".  Just reading through it, you can see all the bad grammar which screams that it's a scammer!  If people can't understand that there is no Facebook lottery by now - after reading 70+ pages of posts, there's no hope for them.

People (at least some) need to realize that it's impossible to win anything (lottery, sweepstakes, contest) without first entering it ... in the case of lotteries, that means they have to purchase the lottery ticket themselves.

No lottery will ever email, send a message (through Facebook), call you about a supposed winning. And no lottery is ever run by a private business such as Facebook (which is in the social media, not the lottery, business) and that actual lotteries are always government run!

Any time you get an email or message out of the blue from a total stranger like that it's more likely than not a scam and you should just delete it! The only ones who win in these scams are the theives who send them once someone falls for them!!!

I think the idea of "free money" will always bewitch some people.  And while it can feel a little depressing having to always answer people here "is this real?" over and over, we can at least take some satisfaction in the fact that at least some of them are coming here rather than just handing over the info the scammers are asking for.

Here's a quiz. You get 100% correct ... you pass, miss all or most ... you fail and probably shouldn't be on a computer to begin with!

    1. Lotteries will always email you ... even if you never entered it or never heard of it.
    A. True
    B. False

    2. Each lottery email sent out will have a private (sector) business name like ________________ .
    A. Facebook
    B. Nokia
    C. Microsoft
    D. Apple Computers
    E. Coca Cola
    F. Toyota
    G. Any other well known business name
    H. All of the above

    3. In relation to the above, are real lotteries run by private businesses such as those mentioned in those emails?
    A. Yes, they always are
    B. No! They never are! Lotteries are always run by government appointed lottery commissions (in any country that has lotteries)!

    4. Do these emails always ask for your personal information?
    A. Yes
    B. No

    5. Do these emails always ask for some upfront/"processing" fee before you will supposedly receive your 'winnings'?
    A. Yes
    B. No

    6. What other means do so called lottery win notifications sent outside of email?
    A. Standard Mail
    B. Phone Call
    C. Text message
    D. Facebook message (if you use Facebook)
    E. All of the above

    7. Do real lotteries use free, web based email accounts?
    A. Yes
    B. No

    8. What should you do once receiving one of these emails?
    A. Reply to it, because it's real
    B. Ignore it and it will go away (keeping it in your inbox)
    C. Do NOT reply at all instead delete it and possibly even report it (to ic3.gov, if that will help)

Now ask yourself this question, is there any misspellings, grammatical errors and typos in these emails?

"Everyday thousands of people receive emails telling them they have won a prize. Many claim that the reader has won a prize from some lottery. ... Unfortunately, none of what you read in that email is true, there is no lottery, there are no prizes and most importantly there is never any cost for cashing in a real lottery prize.

If someone asks you to pay for a prize, it is not a prize, it's a scam and don't give them your money.

Let's be realistic here: How did you win a prize in a Lottery which you did not enter? How did the state lottery, which sells tickets, anonymously via convenience and grocery stores find your email? But most importantly, how is it that the lottery is expecting you to pay to get your prize? Taxes are taken out from the prize, not paid before the prize is awarded.

If you get a letter like this, it's a SCAM - don't answer!"

"A lottery scam is a type of advance-fee fraud which begins with an unexpected email notification that “You have won!” a large sum of money in a lottery. The recipient of the message — the target of the scam — is usually told to keep the notice secret, “due to a mix-up in some of the names and numbers,” and to contact a “claims agent.” After contacting the agent, the target of the scam will be asked to pay “processing fees” or “transfer charges” so that the winnings can be distributed, but will never receive any lottery payment. Many email lottery scams use the names of legitimate lottery organizations or other legitimate corporations/companies, but this does not mean the legitimate organizations are in any way involved with the scams."

Your "frined" is a scammer. If he got any money he got it by stealing it from someone else.

There is no lottery.  Delete the email.  Stop sending messages to your thief "frined"

And learn to spell.  The word is "friend".
