If she did what you are suggesting then she would not be able to receive calls from her son who lives in that area code.  However, I would have to wonder why she doesn't know her son's phone number.

Just received a call from Tom from EZ Quotes. After clearly stating Do Not Call list, they proceeded to play a variety of soundclips calling me an mf'er and putting a bag of jellybeans where the sun don't shine, so to speak. It was on Bluetooth and my kids were in the car. Area code 561

Good reason why people shouldn't accept an unknown call while having children confined in a small space where they can be exposed to such garbage calls.

She did mention emergencies so perhaps she answers calls from his area code in case he's unable to call but someone else does on his behalf?

    ? What you said:
"However, I would have to wonder why she doesn't know her son's phone number."
I didn't wonder, since I read what she said about emergencies.

Doubtful.  The number was likely spoofed.

Ha! “Tom” called me 3 times today as well. I am so sick of this easy quote. I am going to do some digging and get some helpful info. I will let y’all know what I find out.

Same here frequent calls sounds like automatic system once you respond. As stated not sure how spell the name correctly for accurate search.
