Fakes pretend to be a celebrity

Anyone else get these texts on any social media platforms

Fairly common scam. Sadly, there are people who will believe Brad Pitt needs money for his hangnail surgery and will send their life savings.

If you have any numbers that texts came in on, you can create threads with info about the texts you were sent. You can forward texts to 7726 as spam.

Since I find "social media" platforms to be a waste of my time, my personal answer is "No".

If those texts include a phone number, you can place it in the search box on every page of this site and it will take you to the proper number thread to post information about the text.  You may find that others have already posted about calls and texts they have received from that number and you can find out more information that my help you.
If there is no phone number attached to the texts you refer to, then posts about them should not be made on this site.  This site is a database of user experiences with calls and texts received from various phone numbers.
