Might be a good idea to look out for McAffee scam posts

Someone has been downvoting the people who are (accurately) reporting these scam numbers. See:

Hmmm....registered troll?  Scammer trying to do damage control?  I upvoted both but one negative still remains.

Thanks, I just went over and added my votes. I seem to remember some from that OP over WCM, checked and did not find anything in the threads associated with those 2 numbers. I will keep my eye out.

Added some thumbs up to those pages also.
Personally, I am not wild about the posters like "Vi" and "Viv" that copy and paste the entire email.
They should keep it simple and concise, similar to the posts by "AJ".

I added my warning to both posts for those who are gullible and not sure what the email means.

First of all, I appreciate you all looking out for my posts.

Secondly, since downvotes can only be made by registered users, as Pudge mentioned - this would imply that the scammers have registered here, in order to push back on my efforts.

Lastly, Nimrod mentioned that they do not like me pasting the entire emails here. My intention is so that folks who also receive that email can compare the contents. As MikeHuntleton pointed out, some folks can be gullible. However I can follow AJ's lead, and make them concise.

The answer to your downvotes is in this thread.  You can pretty much tell who is doing the downvoting.  Its always the same 3 or 4 clowns who think they are legend-in-their-own-minds and they are always making comments that have nothing to do with spam phone calls.

I noticed my own call reports have recently been downvoted as well.  Probably because I point out how other websites have more up-to-date info on spam calls.  That's what happens when you have 3 or 4 clowns abusing other posters.  They move on to other websites.  I only post here because I know it bugs them.

If this post is not moderated I'll be shocked... nothing bugs the little tyrants here more than not bowing down to their greatness...

So you are the one who down votes posts that describe a scam, just to bug the Community Members you think are moderators? You are what people call a troll because you are only here to cause trouble, by your own admission.
You say it's 3-4 people in this thread, but really it is people like you why others flag posts for moderators to view.
FYI: Moderators don't interact with posters or make comments, they simply approve or delete comments. Many Community members do try helping by commenting when poor info or pointless info is given. Trolls such as yourself like to try discrediting the site with garbage and turning anything you don't like into something negative.

The site is very popular and it draws all kinds of trolls, especially ones like you who don't contribute anything more that negativity or to post propagation of their own agenda. Community members sometimes post commentary so vistors have more than pointless posts to read.

As for the down voting part, you are posting negativity to try discrediting this site by purposely stating its from people here in this thread, when nobody here in this thread (other than you) would down vote a post that describes a scam in detail.

That one reminds me of a Troll who used to frequently post on this site with posts that were always trying to provoke replies that it could further whine and complain about.  That Troll always seemed to be rather "annoyed".
