These two numbers seems to be used by the same people who are asking to send them $130 in order to get a $7,000 grant. Both of these threads had fake positive comments. If you get a call from them DO NOT send them any money.
WHO SAYS ITS A SCAM EVEN I GET A CALL AND I CALL BACK THIS NO. AND I PAY $130 AND WITHIN 15MINS I RECIEVED THE MONEY IN MY AC.
Warning: The author of this post (ASHLEY WILLIAM) has also posted as "nancy smith", Kevin, and Derek. All those posts came from India. Do not trust these people.
A little group you may have heard of called the FTC says it's a scam when someone wants an advance fee for a "grant", or any other service hawked by some stranger on the phone. They've been saying so for a long time, as in this example:
Anyway, a "grant" should imply that one *collects* funding. Only the gullible and the stupid believe in *paying* for a "free grant".

These crooks have been calling for years from India or Palistan, or both. Does anyone here know if they have a USA presence?
My investigation reveals that Indian call centres reference doing this work, along with Dish Network, Direct TV, and other campaigns. Through the years, the script has stayed very similar. DO NOT send them any $$ or give them bank account info.
OK resident, I hate to do this again to our indian and pakastani friends, but I have to. I conjure another Bulyare over these senders of the promised grant. I have lit the sacred candle, I have spilled the blood of the sacred cow over the poo-koon root. Bulyare is stronger, Bulyare wins. I have entered their minds, the blood of the sacred cow has permeated their thoughts. Their phones have broken, the lines are down. They cannot dial, their fingers cramp as they try. No one is home, no money is coming. Bulyare wins, the sacred oath is strong. The candle will burn forever, their efforts are in vain. The shame they bear is too strong. Bulyare wins with the sacred cow's blood. Shame and misfortune follows them everywhere. Bulyare wins, they rend their clothes and cry in shame. No more money.

Is anyone surprised that "Ashley William" is e-mailing from India??
"Acc." is the proper abbreviation for "account". Also, all caps makes you sound desperate & annoying. Stop. It's not necessary in order to get your point across. In fact, it DEFLECTS from your point & is actually quite distracting, which causes it to do the complete opposite.
Yes I am one of the stupid one. I found this site a little too late. I just paid a total of $300 in 2 days so far 2 transaction with $10 each fees to Western Union and they want more. They said the $140 that I am sending is for a Charity in Delhi, India to a guy by the name of Manoj Kumar. They keep on accusing me of making mistakes on my end that is why I have to do the transaction again. Like I didn't include my middle name. And now they say I can't have the Money cause I have to pay tax, somesort of state tax. of $499 more to claim the money. I think all these guys are using fake names Manager: Jack Johnson and operator Ray Simmon. They all have an American names with Indian accents and claim they work for the government grant department in Washington DC and they even gave the address 200 independence Avenue?. Stupid me I've should of learned from my previous mistakes. The same Indian people ripped off over the phone before 6 years ago and costme a lot of money. This is the numbers they used to operate their SCAMS.12026575343. PLEASE BEWARE TO THOSE PEOPLE OVER THE PHONES. THEY'RE A BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS. Can anybody tell where is 202 area codes?

Since so many folks seem to respond to these calls, I am going to call around making the following offer to people.
"Hi, I am calling to tell you that you've won the Homer Simpson Good Sense Lottery, isn't that wonderful? All you have to do is send me $5000, and in one year you will receive not only your $5000 back, but also an additional 39 cents, and a pair of convenience store sunglasses!"
Hmm, on second thought, I may have to wait for interest rates to go up a bit for this scam to work out to my benefit. Either that, or I'll have to leave off the free sunglasses.
So, what would happen if we all banded together and started scamming people in India (etc ... )? They took our jobs, we need money. I think its only fair. I bet it wouldn't go for more than two days before our Government (the ones that let the jobs leave) arrested us.
Better than that is us all uniting, buying plane tickets, going over there, dragging them out of their holes and give them a public ass whopping. It'll be all over the news. If cops cant do nothing about it, we could all do something about it.
