SCAM: Junk text claims you've won $1000 Best Buy gift card

mine started with...  you've been chosen, you won a .......

got the same text on 2/13/12

Gift Redemption Program is an independent rewards program for consumers "and is not affiliated. What I would like to know is how does this company even get the phone numbers from Best Buy????

Got the same message from 330-203-1891 about the $1000 Best Buy gift card. Yuck. So glad this forum exists!

Didn't know what this was, I went to the link and it didn't load. Didn't expect it to be anything , this confirms it, it's a scam text. Whatever

Got a text saying I won a 1000 dollar gift card to best buy, link was http://winner.cardsbestbuy.info/95935. I am very upset about the text spam to say the least..

I received the same message from the same number I wish the U.S. government would address this issue. It's a simple main in the neck and general nuisance,  not to mention a waste of our hard earned monies!!

I received the same text message. I happen to be going through Tulsa today. Perhaps I should stop by the address listed and claim my gift card!!!

Just got the same message http://winner.cardsbestbuy.info/465506 although knew that if it was spam, my work computer would not allow me to go to the site and it didn't.  Then looked this up.  The only thing I think I've done differently in the last couple of days, because this came to my phone is put in an add with craigslist that had to be verified by phone.  Hesitated to do that, but did it anyway vs my computer and sure enough, spam came to my phone.

I received a call this morning (on Valentine's Day is a sneaky tactic) telling me, "You've been chosen! 1000.00 gift card from Best Buy http://winner.cardsbestbuy.info/5454485
