SCAM: Junk text claims you've won $1000 Best Buy gift card

I too have received a message.

bestbuygiftcard.mobi for $1000.It was said that the "gift" could only be claimed by the first 1000 people who responded.  Number 201-539-0360.

I just signed up to to receive my gift card at best buy. i'm not so computer savvy so i innocently trusted them. the number that the test came from was 2132805764. how can i look this number up and see where it came from?

Call your credit card company and cancel the card.  Do it NOW.  Quick before the scammers spend all of your money.  The number is on the back of the card and on your statement.  

You can look up the number by typing it in the "Phone Number Search" box on the right side of this page.  The Best Buy Gift Card scammers are using lots of different numbers.  The number that called you may not have been reported here yet.

"You;ve been PreSelected to Win a 1000$ BestBuy Gif Card! But Only the 1st 1000 users that goto http://bestbuygift.mobi and enter code 7777 will Recieve it!"

Just got the same message from a different number (213-300-0976).

same message - text from 201-539-0251. We shop a lot at Best Buy...glad I checked it out first!

This is the same message I just received, different phone number though

Mine came through at 2:04 a.m. local time on a Monday morning from 201-539-0401. It must have been sent from the Eastern Time Zone as the "send time" was an hour later. It stated that I had been chosen to win a $1,000.00 gift card from Best Buy. All I have to do is go to http://bestbuygift.mobi and enter code 7777 to receive it. Since I have never bought anything from Best Buy I thought it might be a scam. Now I am convinced it is.

Got a text to go to http://bestbuygift.mobi and enter code 7777. This is different from the others but I assume it's still spam.

The number is 213-304-9496.

I just received a text and it stated that I was preselected to win a $1000 gift card from Best buy...the thing is the put the $ sign on the 'end' of 1000 and they spelled gift wrong...the number it came from is 213-280-0466
