"What Can I Do About Scam Text Messages:
Ignore instructions to text "STOP" or "NO" to prevent future texts. This is a common ploy by scammers to confirm they have a real, active phone number.
Forward the texts to 7726 (SPAM on most keypads). This will alert your cellphone carrier to block future texts from those numbers.
If you think your text message is real, be sure it's directing to a web address like Bestbuy.com or Target.com, not www.bestbuy.otherwebsite.com.
And as always, if you think getting a free $1,000 gift card seems too good to be true, it probably is."

(* I originally mistakenly thought it was in Illinois, but on further checking (via the IP address) found it's Minnesota) - ReneG replies to jasonI got that same message late last night. I knew it wasn't to be trusted because it came so late (~9:30pm) and the address had a weird format. Why do people spend time scamming? Why not use that energy to become legal? What a waste.....losers!
- KarenDJust received a txt stating I won 5th in their contest and to reply to BBSpree.net. Glad I came on this site first
- Alicia| 1 replyHow u claim it?
- C replies to AliciaHow do you claim it?
Bang your head against the wall, go find a theif on the street and hand him all your miney!
Look, before posting about claiming a prize rhat doesn't exist try reading the previous posts first!!!
In other words, it's a lie! A scam sent by thieves. Best Buy didn't send any text and has nothing to do with it. That bestbuyspree.net site is only a few days old and was set up just for that scam!
Got it! It's not real! It's a lie!!! Forward the stupid junk text to your cell provider at 7726 and then both delete it and forget about it!!! - AnonScreams SCAM folks.
