And that is why they are being sued constantly. *You* have to take steps as outlined and put a stop to it.  And Res does know what he is talking about and is a respected member here.

Here is his point  on this thread. There are  threads on any given subject as a rule, but instead of reading and posting in those, they are ignored and yet another thread started.   It does not make sense to ignore the threads already started on the same given subject matter bottom line.

We're at cross-purposes here ANonie-Whoisguard works with Enom-who I have seen listed more times than I can count with work-at-home spam links. GoDaddy uses DbP (Domains by Proxy). I'm just going by what I've seen on here all right?

I believe you are correct about that. I do know that I have used both WhoisGuard and Domains by Proxy, and I'm quite sure they were at different registrars. My feeling is that they all serve similar purposes and can be similarly misused. I don't particularly like using any of these services, but they do help me avoid getting certain types of spam in my email and junk telephone calls on the phone. And it only seems necessary to use these services with my ".com" domains.

Perhaps you will have to chalk this confusion up as a senior moment.

Well...the work at home spam links are all cybersquatting on legit sites-the newest one I've seen, jobsfish, is squatting on the site jobfish (note the lack of the s in the legit one). I only found out they were doing that by mistyping the link-now that I think of it, every single one of them has an extra 's' in them! Thanks ANonie-having this discussion has opened my eyes to what is going on here!

    Only if you let them....

I don't know who they are, but they have called my cell phone from over a dozen different numbers in about 7 different states.  Never leave a message, like a valid debt collector would, probably because I have no past debt, and my current debts are all paid up.  It's clearly a scam, trying to get me to say "Yes" to something so they can use my voice to scam me.

They are a debt collector and very, very, very few debt collectors leave messages due to various legal reasons.  There is no "yes" scam that is simply something brain dead people believe in much like the "5 g cell towers caused the Corona virus".  No one can be scammed using your voice.  Get a grip on reality.  By the way you could have learned a lot by doing the two things you obviously didn't do.  The first would have been to look up the phone numbers calling you where you most likely would have found lots and lots of information on how to stop the calls.  The second would have been to read the other posts in this thread where you would have learned a lot also.  See, you really can learn by reading.  Now, if you had only paid attention in reading class you would have left here a whole lot smarter.

I thought you got a Bentley for Xmas in 2018? Or does he bring you one every year? 😸

I got one in 2018 but it came in a box and I had to glue it together.  So this year I asked for a real one, with a real engine that I could sit in and drive around. :)
