You are my hero. I relish the fact that someone takes time to grief the people that on a daily basis bring strife to so many people.

Robo call about credit card interest rates.” the caller ID showed a number with the first six digits the same as my cell phone. I pushed one to talk to someone (my objective is to waste as much time of theirs as I can). I was transferred to a guy with maybe an Indian accent. His English was terrible and he sounded impatient. He explained that he could lower my interest rate on my credit card. He almost immediately wanted my credit card number. I can’t imagine what kind of person would give him their credit card number! I pretended to have two cards and stalled while I asked which one should I use. Then I started very slowly to give him a bogus number and he hung up on me. I kept him busy for 3 minutes. The last time I got a credit card call was on April 16.
...since when are providers of utilities responsible for how their services are used? Does that mean the gas (in the winter) and the electric utilities are guilty as well and should be held responsible? Boy I'd hate to see the fine if "old sparky" was still in use.
Insidious wrote his/her post FOUR years ago. I doubt he’ll/she’ll see your comment after all these years. Not sure why you would reply to something so old but it’s probably a waste of time.

Robo call about a vacation package and mentioned Hyatt Hotels. The number on the caller ID had the first 5 digits the same as my number I pushed 1 to talk to someone, (my objective is to waste as much time of theirs as I can). After I pushed 1 I heard the phone ringing and it rang for about two minutes and then a recording picked up and said I would be transferred and I listened to hold music for 30 seconds and then a guy, with maybe an Indian accent, picked up and said his name and asked to who he was speaking. I said “this is Ned. Who am I speaking with?” He said how are you today and I said fine. I’m sorry who am I speaking with? And he hung up. I should not have been so persistent on getting his name so early in the call. But I did keep their line tied up for 5 minutes.
I'm presuiming you're also posting under the numbers that call you so people using this site properly can find what little information you've gained. Or are you just here to brag about wasting their time?
Thanks for the advice. I was posting to the spoofed number but in all cases I was the first and only post, which suggests that they are changing their numbers frequently, maybe even for every call. And I question if anybody would see any postings to these numbers. Below is a list of spoofed numbers I received this year.

If you check these numbers, nobody (with the exception of me on two of them) has posted the these. This makes me wonder if they are changing the number they display on every call. This makes me think the call centers who are providing the software are actually developing their systems to assist illegal robo call techniques.
Just because you're "the first and only post" doesn't mean someone won't benefit from you posting in the correct number thread. As has been pointed out, this thread is phone number based. People search for the phone number that called them. Thus, more people will benefit if you post in the correct thread than here, in a random thread they won't know to search for. And, of course, contant repetition of the same "I pushed one to talk to someone (my objective is to waste as much time of theirs as I can)" just comes across as bragging, not informative.
