Federal Compliance shill
- JoeMamaI was doing some googling on Federal Compliance Publications, that scam company out of Florida running an OSHA poster scam, and remembered this shill:
https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-888-782-7174/2 - GateKeeperWe actually get call like the OFTEN (Not just from this company, but from others, as well). I always report them, but that doesn't mean they stop.
Remember, OSHA materials are free. (Most of the time, your HR department handles them.)
You can look for the ones relevant to your company HERE :) - JoeMama| 1 replyYeah I used to get calls all the time from Federal Compliance Publications, but they always ID'ed themselves as "Federal Compliance" to make themselves sound official. That is, when they didn't outright claim to be OSHA. At one point I got tired of them calling and finally told them to take my number off their list because I hadn't fallen for their scam yet, and I wasn't going to in the future. They haven't called after that, which was probably about a year ago, but their MO is to not call for a while and then start calling again. I was googling them to find the number they used to put them into my call blocker, but seeing as how they either change numbers often, I just blocked the entire 954 area code.
- DaFox replies to JoeMamaThey have been dinged once:

Like cockroaches :( - JoeMama| 1 replyGreat news, DaFox, maybe that's why they haven't been calling me lately. They're a bunch of liars, because when they called me they often said that we had received OSHA posters from them in the past, which I knew was false since I've been in charge of the business from day one. They also misrepresented themselves as being with OSHA and claimed they just wanted to verify the business address to send out posters, never once mentioning a fee. I really wish someone would shut down those scammers.
- BigA replies to JoeMamaI got sucked into buying a set of those posters, but that was years ago before everything was on the internet. I haven't been in business for years, but they still send me letters telling me I have to buy these posters or else. I put those letters where they belong, right through the shredder.
- PudgeIt's a wonder they don't try to sell 'em to the girl scouts running they're little cookie business!
